[TAS|WIP4] Mario Bros. "1 player, 18 Phases" - 16 to 18 7:39.81 is the final time for single player which is only 00:32.83 seconds slower than having 2 players. Here's the full TAS: Link to video

2 Things. 1) Read my post subject on my one (since it's the date on when the video wad made and my delayed posting). 2) Gigguk's version is literally the entire story summarized into 8 minutes and DEEsidia avoids the story and straight into a joke.

Nice you've completed 4.54% of Donkey Kong. I'm personally more interested in seeing it reach the Kill Screen. Well to be exact the actual route to get that is using a different version. See, you're going: 25m, 50m, 75m, 100m (loop) The American version is: Stage 1 25m, 100m Stage 2 25m, 75m, 100m Stage 3 25m, 50m, 75m, 100m Stage 4 25m, 50m, 25m, 75m, 100m Stage 5 25m, 50m, 25m, 75m, 25m, 100m (Loop Stage 5)

I looked into the eyes of Phase 14 and said "Damn girl, you crazy." -Video Deleted- (I secretly didn't put a speed/entertainment tradeoff) 14 is honestly going to be my least favorable Phase through this entire TAS. I finally got it down down to enough of a tee and just wanted out... Instead I decided to stay in for longer to rid the evil instead of being free. 3 Phases to go and it'll be all over. Told you so. :)

Since the files for the config is no longer available online. What was the method to make this TAS sync from the config file? Does anyone surprisingly still have this config file? It'll be nice to have this file available once more or to have the explanation given.

About 33% of the stuff I've encoded since 60fps begun I had to wait a day or two. It didn't matter on length of the encode, it's normal for YouTube. Hell my submission of Guilty Gear X: Advance Edition took 3 hours just to get the 60. It was 720 and just no 60. So when I wrote "this is normal" it means "this is normal".

I would probably like a TAS of this on the remake version (GBA)
GBA version is quite different and will be waiting for multiple GBA screens as 4 player would be used.

-Video Deleted- I take that comment back about pausing on both phases. It's required to pause on first phase due to only being 3 "Turtles"... Game manuals everyone, they're amazing. Second phase obviously doesn't require it. 4th & 5th are sketchy at the end but that's all you can do with it. I'll be putting these out every 5 phases (not 3 like I did last time). Edit: Like so: -Video Deleted- Holidays are amazing. (sleep isn't)

Well. I never expected myself to do this again. Link to video Obvious Issue: Pausing at opening of both Phases, not required. The downwards pause is just to show off take it with a grain of salt... Thoughts?

I know this has already been discussed, but would it be too much to ask if encoders didn't use that ugly filter? Just plain unfiltered pixels would be completely fine by me.
TASVideosChannel encode as always is going to be using no filtering, using GLideN64 plugin. The encode provided when published will be sonicpacker's encode, since sonic wants it mained on his account.

Actual question since I only just noticed this. Why does SNES default to Performance core now? It used to be Compatibility up until the release of 1.11.6. I mainly ask this as it was never mentioned in the Changelog.

Yo saomoore94, what's up? Creating a new account and everything, whilst you're still a Limited User. Anyways. You used a you used a bad ROM. But you did do one thing right. You used the correct version of Snes9x... Too bad you're still limited, so this is going to be has been rejected. How about you show us what you can do by uploading to your userfiles instead of creating an alt.

Okay, now let's go on about the actual input. You're not optimal. Just the first stage Link to video You're using FCEUX I'm using BizHawk. FCEUX is 2 frames behind. Giving you a disadvantage. In the video, the 2 frames that cause this have been removed for an apples to apples comparison. It's a great first attempt (even though I'm entirely against this TAS due to the branch), but much more can be improved. Also a Light Spike so it can be at end of input: User movie #34395770204643749

Re-quoting myself and editing a bit to update to this TAS.

Hello, 2016 Spikestuff Hijacking this post. This TAS, and the other port (and other port) are all incomplete. Galaga, has a total of 8 Challenging Stages. Here, we only have 1. Why is it 8 you may ask, well both the Strategy Wiki and Namco, who actually ported the game onto Tekken on PS1, have shown that the maximum number of stages, is 8. The only one still unknown to me is the Atari 7800 port, but there is a chance this one is needing to be obsolete in the future too. Besides Galaga, we actually need to find out when Galaxian loops, as we don't have an answer available for that one.
Bonus. Also because you're a speedrunner I actually made a post about it on speedrun in Galaga. Here we expect a game loop. Not something arbitrary.

No I'm not. I'm trying to actually compare video vs video, but due to how you actually provide yours I cannot really do any comparisons to Soig's work. Because you cannot encode these segments correctly and like I've said, your options are part of the factor to some of this.
