This thread and the other, are both stupid. This is a Movie File It starts with all the information required, it also holds the subtitles and then follows it up with the actual input.: This is also a Movie File which contains the contents of the notes, the game information, bios, author, re-record count, Subtitles and how it has been set up in order for it to sync (which is primarily important for n64 TASes) as well as the input: How do you call something with great information stored inside it with more things than what would just be "input" and call it something that doesn't even scratch the surface of what is inside it?

The Pacifist TAS is faster... [1926] NES Contra (Japan) "pacifist" by Soig & zyr2288 in 09:29.08 I would refer to the one player run that's obsoleted which is also faster... but that was done on Famtasia... so I'm ignoring it.

14854 frames of blank input... probably more can be shaved off, I'm not going to check how many more frames can be shaved off as your slower than the fastest by a large margin. So that drops your frame count down to 43994 which is 12:12.03. So in perspective you're slower than the oldest one (11:05.7).

I think the multi-run was the weakest part of the TAS block this time around.
The interesting part is that people on reddit (r/speedrun) said that we stuffed up our ordering again and that the multi-run was the most interesting thing out of them all in the TASBlock (besides ~2 second completion). Because this isn't something that you'd normally see, so of course it was more boring to us compared to the viewers that have never seen it before.

I'm giving this like the other a Meh. Neither 1 player TASes is entertaining for me. What I'm concerned about is that you lose managed to 304 frames to Allbeert's TAS without explaining why you have lost these frames in the Detailed Comments nor the Possible Improvements. The other concerns on what I have, is what JorWat25 has already mentioned.

Seriously?
He didn't provide an example number on default, so I'm forced to use whatever is necessary that works with the value, so be it, it's "ROM" or "Combined WRAM" or "Man on the Moon". Which is the exact reason why I pointed out that it's most likely "Combined WRAM" (on a whim). So yes. "Seriously."

Your issue is that you didn't point out the game... And the other is that you didn't give an example value when it's at default on vba. (I got the value working on vba) On a guess I'm assuming you're using Castlevania : Harmony of Dissonance due to your posts. You require to put something like:
Language: lua

memory.usememorydomain("ROM") currentSubWeapon=memory.read_u8(0x1877E)
or
Language: lua

memory.usememorydomain("Combined WRAM") currentSubWeapon=memory.read_u8(0x1877E)
Since these are the only two that work when you search the value you provided. On a guess, it might be the one with "Combined WRAM" mentioned. Which would be the one you require, as the value it gives is more appropriate.

Yes the RTA run is indeed faster haven't looked at the TAS yet nor the RTA run, so I don't know what the differences are yet between the two timings, but I'm assuming the RTA timer ends much earlier, as the TAS input drags on throughout the input. What raises a flag for me is that you managed to do all this in 10 hours. Author's input corrected lightly: User movie #32228810571080013 You don't have to cancel the TAS, as a judge will be able to update your submission with this file, without any issues.

We also don't know which emulator you were using to run into this issue, can you please state that as well. Input file would also be nice to see what's going on.

No one gave a crap. Since speedruns were already coming out on first week. He was laid back with speedrunning (as well as sprite ripping) since v1.001 (February).

Since your comment is missing some points, and your tl;dr is missing the main point you put forth in the main statement. Everything explained in the redistribution is fine as it is. So, I'll ask a question back. What's the point of redistributing something when majority is already available on the Main YouTube Channel of TASVideos? And that the older TASes are slowly making their way there through re-encodes. If it was dailymotion, vimeo or some other non-YouTube platform you could've been fine in redistributing the content, as it most likely wouldn't have been distributed there.

You need to zip the file up, before uploading it to the userfiles. If that doesn't work try uploading the .fm2 here: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php
