Moozooh, what do you mean? I looked at that game, but it didn't animate for me. Maybe I missed something?

I think the biggest problem would be once this movie gets special treatment, a la animated gif, then why should game x not get an animated gif too? Pretty soon the movie page will be full of dizzying, non-sense animation, which will agitate and confuse lower life forms new viewers. Although I like the idea, I think the snowball effect that could happen would not be worth this bit of humor.

On a side note, does anyone know why even though I had it on mute, it said "Pika!" in a horribly digitized voice during the title sequence?
Maybe VBA has a thing for yellow rats, too? *GASP!* Maybe Bisqbot has a crush, too! My girlfriend's car radio has a mute all, but it only knocks the volume down 10 notches, or so. Maybe that is what is happening here?

It is mentioned in the submission text. Although you get the same result in VBA 20 too, it's just cleaner.
Yeah, for some reason it did not wish to show itself so nicely when I went a looking. However, I am confused about what you mean about VBA 20, because three roms, which matched the movie, all de-synched for me. Granted it doesn't matter, since "Use 19" is in the text.

It should be highlighted that this run uses VBA v19 ?_? I have no clue what happened, but I think I should vote yes...

I would be interested in doing archive, so I threw up a little test site. Let me know what you think should be added to the text, because I don't think that info is enough. Also, sorry adelikat, you were my guinea pig ;P

WoW, VG, nice runs! Figured I could catch you in this topic, so here it is! [/off topic] Any updates on the run otherwise?

Relatively entertaining, and improved on the other movie. So, yes for this one. EDIT: Mr. Kelly R. Flewin reminded me about the luck manipulation. I was relatively disappointed with the use of pausing the game for manipulating, kind of took some entertainment from the run for me. There was also another instance, used less than pausing, but I cannot remember what that was >_>

Proof Bisqwit is racist towards middle class white americans! [/shameless self plug] Just kidding, I love you Bisqwit *big ol' hug* In all honesty, I can't remember my favorite. Maybe that is because I don't remember half of anything, aside from the important stuff like the theme for Starlight Zone in Sonic 1. And many episodes of Batman the Animated Series. And the whole script to Jurassic Park.

Ok, just for fun. There's an old C64 game whose identity I am unable to track. If I recall correctly, it had wild-west theme. There was overworld where you entered different houses. In the houses, the player collected stuff and avoided some falling obstacles and other hazards. The suspected player character was possibly white in color and may have had a gun, but I'm not sure.
For some reason that game strikes me as a Lone Ranger port... but I have no *real* idea on what that game might be.

It shouldn't matter how big and black the boxes are; the site is not interested in the background. What Bisqwit wants is something that tells you information as it's first priority, and beautiful pictures second. I think that a solid black box would be the best, but I am interested to see what that would look like. Mind posting a 100% opacity? I will probably love you forever.. :D EDIT: Upon continuing to review your art, I notice the background of the whole picture is very loud. All the blue swirls take away emphasis from both the character AND message. A solid color, preferably a darker one, would *probably* work best.

I am not biased at all. Run this game. EDIT: My usual source only had an [M6]. Will this work for the game? (Haven't finished the DL yet.) EDIT2: Heh, after downloading GoodGBA I found that M is just a multi-language dump. Should work... *blush* FINAL EDIT: What an anti-climactic ending. I think the biggest problem with this game is the horrible lag. Throughout the whole run lag was a constant problem... so much so that I don't know if this will be accepted T_T

Thank you mugg, for doing (and hopefully completing) this 100% run. Now I may be able to actually beat this game XD

I will be critiquing it tomorrow. I haven't had the motivation to do anything lately, but this will change because I will remember to take my medicines and the like. Sorry for the late-ness of this, too >_>

I am currently going for Electrical Engineering Technology. Basically, I laugh at the EE douches who decide "Hey, why not write out 10 fucking pages of equations to solve a simple trial and error problem?!?!?!?!" Douche. Make circuits, play with electricity, and build with legos (yes, there is a lab with legos). What more could a guy ask for? I wish I had found this thread a little more... sober.

That game is hilarious and crazy and has Surge slushies. Fuck one hit kills, though. I think it has possibility, especially with continuing downhill speed as long as you do not hit a wall. I hope you decide to make this, 'cause I would like to see the final result. Let me know if you want me to actually critique your WIP (I don't know if you are actually posting as a WIP or just a showcase so someone else picks it up.)

Although a pain in the ass for the encoder, perhaps another avi that has the resets cut out, and the level runs stitched together into one long play through?

Well, BoMF, I didn't research well and as such had no clue there were other runs that did the reset thing. Also, any thing I could come up with for rebuttal would be running around the same circles (Hard reset is a cold start, soft is a warm(?) start,) which doesn't help any of us reach an answer... so I will just duck out after saying my two cents ^_^;

I don't think this argument has been said before, so here is my take. A TAS is a superplay, which sometimes takes death as a short cut. Death may or may not cause a warping of some kind, but either way this is acceptable. I do not think that resetting the whole system should be acceptable, because it doesn't seem as though a Perfect Dark TAS is a "Perfect Dark Super Play" i.e playing the game from start to finish in one sitting and one power on. An example of resetting where I believe is acceptable is X-men where resetting does not change the state of the game (by using a soft reset, in this case, brings up an error message like that in DOS.) The game is still running, as a single-powered on run to complete the game. The way we are talking about this run makes me feel like it should be billed as individual level run, NOT a TAS of the whole game, in its entirety. Hopefully my argument made some sense, 'cause I can picture my argument in my head but I sure as hell can't write it down >_>

Basically, it was a massive heap that took an extremely wide grip to hold and probably weighs 10 pounds. Plus an X!
