Should make it clear: I'm the author of both TAS. Synahel is the nick I'm switching to, with time.

I've added a quick encode to the submission text. By the way, the author is French-speaking, which I assume is why he/she didn't write out a submission text. Nico30620, you could have ended this run on this frame and saved 1671 frames, or about 28 seconds. Would you like me to replace the movie file for you? (I don't expect him/her to understand me. If he/she doesn't, would a French-speaking member mind translating my previous paragraph? Or should I just replace the movie file anyway?)
And yeah, rerecord seems a bit low, and I was kinda wondering why he's shooting when there's nothing to be shot at, I was expecting something more of a shoot-em-up (only fire when needed). Still, short enough and cool.

Nice, good to see more SimCity. Kilaye thought of a way of doing the 999999$ trick by just getting once in the menu after we finished the tool-assisted-something we did last month, glad someone else did. My opinion: the whole strategy (read: the pattern used) seems good, though we managed to get to 600.000 while leaving two 3x3 blocks unused. But it took longer to get to 600.000, faster TAS, longer RTS. I think the choice here is better though, this is a TAS and I think perfection of the pattern is what should be aimed (and what is aimed in this specific TAS). So yeah, I think this deserves technical credits, if not entertainment. At least that should be vaulted, because I don't think anything can beat that, besides what FatRatKnight intended to do. And funny to see someone living so close to me interested in wrecking the same game :p

All right, at last been through. My ears are bleeding though, someday I will slaughter Nintendo engineers who made such a poor choice for the GBA audio chip. Anyway, it's a nice improvement, as entertaining as the previous version was, and skipping bosses is funny. Loved it, too bad it has so poor audio, but it's a very nice addition. And for the love of god, feel free to ask me if you need help for summing up your improvements in proper english, Got4n :D

All right, we finished a sort-of WIP (which took way waaaaay too long to make), thanks to Kilaye which helped (read: did 80% of the actual work) making it. It creates an almost-optimized city (we left two 9x9 I blocks out) with some weird choices, which still achieves the 600.000 objective. It was made on BizHawk 1.1.1b (because that was the version that was available when I started making this... like 8 monthes ago?) there: http://rayas.shinra.fr/SimCity_final2.bkm We don't think we'll improve it, and we don't think it's polished enough for TASvideos (played on Easy, we add two rails section in order to spend the money faster because why not, we put at least 2 useless electric pole). Movie ends as soon as the last I section is put in place because you don't need any input to get through taxes and goals menus, they just disappear after some time. Yet, it achieves the goal at around frame 210000. It's way less ambitious than what FatRatKnight envisioned, still, it manages to get the city done. This game is horrendous to TAS, it was a nightmare. Glad it's done.

Yes, yes, yes and more yes. Having watched your WIP, I can't acclaim this run enough, it is amazing. Not only it does look polished, but you really thought your way through this and even added amazing elements for pure awesomeness (oh god these puzzles). Thank you so much for this, my good sir.

I really wonder where you find such roms. I'm jealous. Anyway, fun and silly bad game, short enough to be watched without having bleeding ears.

Is it april 1st already? On a more serious tone, please check if your run beats any of the published runs before considering submission :(

Obvious yes, this run is amazing. Kudos to... meh, too many levels to quote. I just remember 3-E especially as it was the most dreaded stage for me as a kid... This looks amazing, this feels amazing, this is amazing.

Therefore, any romhack of Mario is literally a "Kaizo Mario". Though the only ones commonly called that way are the Yūjin Mario, for a global understanding.

I must admit, I started the movie thinking "Kaizo Mario TAS don't do justice to the games, as the whole point is getting killed by the devious traps". And I regretted these thoughts mere moments after starting to watch the movie. I feel sorry for the game for being ripped apart so much. This was amazing, thanks a lot for this.
