Wow the clockwork zip is insane! Very nicely mad, it looks wonderful. Always good to see childhood game TASed again.

http://tasvideos.org/1497S.html Official TAS is 9:14 long. Care to explain a bit more about your "old glitch and strategy"?

I'm puzzled how two different games should "compete". Shall we reject Mario 2j runs because Mario 1 runs are faster?

Game of my childhood. I've tried to corrupt saves on the SMS version (which is in my opinion the definitive version of the game, hell it was issued 5 years after the Dos version), but no luck so far. Glitched characters may be a cool addition to such a run, but maybe it fits in another category.

Ambrosia's music is amazing in this version, I didn't know! Anyway, this was awesome. Thanks a lot for this. Too bad you hadn't to fight grass ;)

Being an oldschool Ultima fan (and planning on maybe someday trying to TAS Ultima 4 on SMS if I can ever get any way to break the game), I'm very interested on your run. Watching it right now, but thanks a lot for this already!

Interesting and weird, in a good way. And opening the door for a lot more improvements due to being only able to walk (yet it looks already amazingly improved). Yes for me, let's open the door to this new road!

Quick enough, short enough. Would be way too boring if it was any longer though. Not because of the TAS, obviously well-made, but more because of the game. Yet it's as fine as it's short.

Short enough for its purpose, I'm ok with that.

Yeah, with Adventure Island and Quest of Ki, it's among the hardest Famicom games Arino has been playing. "Ain't that an octave too high?"

Good morning, memory abuse. I'm still amazed how such runs can be made, or even considered. Still, I prefer the previous run for the whole "WTF IS GOING ON HERE?!" effect. This one has it too, but a bit less. Anyway, amazing improvement.

Incredible and awesome. Kid Link versus Ganon, giving the final blow with an adult voice!

That is funny, and very well-done. Not a "real" sub-genre, but I really believe we need more of these on the site.

SO THERE IS A THIEF WHO WALKS THROUGH WALLS AND SWIMS IN CONCRETE KILLING A GIANT FISH EDELWEISS WITH PUPPY PUPPY MARIN FLYING GHOST PUPPY, KILLING A GIANT FISH, WITH SHIELD WITHOUT A SHIELD HONEY BROOM AND A WALRUS WHICH ALSO SWIMS IN CONCRETE WHILE SINGING MAMBO-OH-OH MERMAID SCALE KILLING A GIANT FISH THIEF IS EPIC PINEAPPLE And I thought developers were the only ones on drugs, god this looked like a very weird LSD bad trip, or an awkward nerdgasmic wet dream. We REALLY need more playarounds on renown games. This TAS contains too much awesome for me to tell.

This game looks like the weeaboo child of Castlevania and Megaman (Capcom and Konami having children?! Worse than Squarenix!), yet it's well made, polished, and fun.

Fantastic, awesome, and incredibly impressive. I love how this run shows how ingenious you can be to get some of the stars. It didn't seem long seeing all this.
