When you use an dusty GC and a disk with scratches and shit smeared on it, it would be clear that your loading times aren't the best anymore. I assume the loading times in Dolphin are based on flawless GCs and disks.

You can't break those blocks without having the gloves, which are not collected in this run. Collecting them additionally would be much slower.

Memory reading, you mean the RAM watch, doesn't really do much with programming, it's more like simple logic. Finding RNG values isn't necessarily helpful if you don't know what to do with them. You need to find a formula and the type of the RNG to understand it how it works, how you are able to manipulate it and to convert the random values into a meaningful value. But still after that you would do the same as you would do without the knowlegde, just testing different things. It's a common misconception people believe that a plain RNG address helps them with their TASes, knowing about how to manipulate the RNG helps. Learning lua scripting is definitely not a waste. You start by displaying "Hello World" in the emulator window.

The lag counter in lsnes does not work right. The lag emulation is nontheless the same as in BizHawk.

Here's a scientific prove that this project didn't die yet: Link to video Only 377628 rerecords so far. 50.75s faster. Slope clipping is slower again, by about one second. Getting UFO from the two enemies in the first room needs a whole cycle in the roulette.

Rerecords have nothing to do with the number of button presses/frames, complexity of the game does. You don't need to watch it, there should be an option called "play to frame: ". The emulation automatically pauses at this frame. Watching your project (in slow-motion) is highly recommended.

You cannot. The old run used a inacurrate emulator (snes9x 1.43), which had less lag in level transitions.

The M points only decrease every few frames. When I am doing something else before that time I keep the M points.

Normally you just upload the input file (bkm) and you're done. Does your movie have subtitles/commentary in it?

I'm actually currently working on the family feud tas. Problem is I need to do all answers of a question, not just one (I almost did a complete one). And I would also luck manipulate a question, where funny answers would fit in. You can expect this run to be finished next month.

If something I mentioned doesn't work, ignore it. I didn't played the game, these are just tipps you should consider. The first boss is improved by 64 frames, level 2-1 by 60. There are many more levels to possibly improve. So do a bit of an analysis of your inputs you did. If you don't wont to have them in your file now, I can later add them and resync.
