For reference, OoT Speedrunners get the Deku Shield and the Hylian Shield, to perform glitches, but they can be lost. And they are still part of their objective for 100%, cause of their definition. They don't bother what they have in the bottles, they get all four bottles and that's it. So why would we get the potions in a tLoZ 100% run?

I think the definition for all items have also to fit for a normal playtrough. A normal player would use potions in 9th dungeon and finish the game without.

Today, I thought about what an actual definition for all items could be. I came to "all non-consumption items". This would include the magic shield, but still the meat makes some trouble with this new definition. Since the meat is used once in the 7th dungeon it never vanishes out of the item menu again, even if it's used. It's basically something which comes always back to Link when he exiting the screen, like the boomerang. Here's a short overview of the consumption items, which will not be integrated: • Keys • Rupees • Bombs • (Ememy bait)

Some glitches only work at very specific conditions. Make sure you know those conditions, in order to make a glitch work. Mainly glitches which are depending on subpixels have different possibilities of input how they can be executed. All input files are creative commons licensed, which means you are allowed to use input others did. But you should credit the authors as co-authors of your run, if you did massivly copy-pasting, cause it wasn't all of your work alone.

This game has a 21st frame rule. You also need to optimise subpixels to get as fast as HappyLee. And I think a pacifist run wouldn't get published, so don't try to optimise your run.

I'm getting a bit more experienced with programming. So I wrote a simple Arkanoid smiliar game. I didn't got it to work with an array, the ball passes through the blocks and nothing happened. Also the code can be written to run faster in some places. Anyway I'm quite happy with my first game.

It seems to me some levels could me optimised more. Is it possible to manipulate the platforms and obstacles to move a shorter path? Or are they always following the same patterns?

Hi there, some of you might recognized already that I'm TASing this game. I just need some help with luck-manipulation in the casino. I'm doing the moneymaker since I can get 30000 coins in one round and I need 49k coins. I already did one cycle pretty fast without deeper knowledge of the RNGs. But the second time wont work. Nevermind, I searched for RAM addresses for that, but I only found some Y position and Y velocity of the rolls. What I actually need is an address which shows me when I get a 7 in the last roll. The first two rolls are easy to manipulate, since its only a frame-based RNG. But the RNG for the third one also changes values depending what the first two rolls look like. So if I have two 7s in a row already the third row just gives me also a 7 with very little probability. A bot would also make its job. But the problem is, I have have no addresses to tell the bot what it should do. Here's a WIP until the casino.

You can always lose the shield, as it gets eaten by Like-Likes, a monster which I'm pretty sure shows up in even the last dungeon in the game.
Of course they do. There will always be like-likes in the game, but the moblin which takes away the bait never returns, even with a reset.
