I have encountered this desync problem through resuming my Sonic 3 and Knuckles movie. What I did before i stopped was play a little forward after Angel Island 2 (When Knuckles destroys the bridge after you beat Robotnik/Eggman) then during playback i resume the movie during the Act Completed screen. If you want i could send both versions of the .gmv to show you (My backup and the corrupted file).

The Genesis/mega drive controller was too bulky for me as a kid, although i grew used to it, and even brought a 6 button control pad (having six buttons awkwardly placed scared me, but it let me play Street Fighter and Art of Fighting Properly). What i really loved was the mega CD (Sega CD) add on...... Sonic CD owned, and I rate it up there with Sonic 3 with the S&K pack.

wonder boy 5 - dragons trap.
I didn't know there was a wonder boy 5, let alone it being subtitled 'dragons trap'. Does it play like Wonder Boy 3 (also called Dragons Trap) for the Master System?

errr yeah uhhh oops :-P i was thinking it'll be awesome if someone hacked the Kega Lazarus emulator, as it has the option to play game gear, sega master system, genesis and sega cd (of course, Gens can do that too, but it's never worked well for me :P) I'll probably try out Knuckles Chaotix too.....

I used to play this game alot when I was younger, indeed i hadn't actually beaten it but i had alot of fun. The Protection stages were great, but, as you said, it was the bonus stages (a few times you'd actually catch up to the electric line) where you had to wait around that sucked. That said, I'd love to see the run, even if everyone doesn't. :)

No, he means Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo. Anyway, it would be hard to judge racing games as it's really all about how exciting a player can make it. For example, i wouldn't want to see someone take a shortcut and gain half a lap on everyone else, then end up having a lonely race for another 3 laps.

river city ramsom was FUNNY because the guy went running through the levels ignoring all enemies, and then he got to a place there's this guy stopped and BAAAAANG!!! a punch full of rage looool it was like "you slept with my sister! you bastard! i've been looking for you all over the town!" hahahahehe
that is why i loved the movie so much! It was like: "hmm.. nope, you not worthy, neither are you, or you.... ahh, there's something i can have fun with!" Although anothre i've neglected to mention was the 2 player Chip n' Dale run. That was amazing.

I enjoy the River City Ransom time attack. That with SMB2 and Metroid. Top notch stuff.

I believe it's because the filesize of the .avi is 140 megs, the largest i've seen on Bisqwit's site.

Sounds very interesting. I like it! Although I'd perfer a minimalistic run (looks more impressive IMO) I'd view either 100% or minimalistic.
