There already is (Or was...) something similar. http://tasvideos.org/15M.html It ends and begins all lvls with small Mario. EDIT: Maybe it isn't the right movie anyway, forgot where I have seen it.

To unlock the second Bowser lvl you need to take the submarine star. So far no one has figured out a way to get in there without taking the star.

Be sure to have "Read Only" mode activated first. Or else you will rerecord from the position you load.

Won't take too long. There's an obvious improvement in the final bowser path. But I belive (hope) Aka and SwordlessLink are going to remake that part.

Haha, that was quite a funny watch ;D. Like 800 "seconds" left when beating the lvl, LOOL.

Very awesome run indeed! A lot of surprising tricks were used in it. I have, however, two questions about the last Bowser fight, the last hit: Wasn't it faster to through him on the spike that was to the diagonal left instead of to the right? Why didn't you position yourself under the star...?

Looks fine to me =). Don't rush the run because you want to do one lvl a day anyway. Keep it up.

The black&white version... 100%... with screen warping? O..M..G! Nearly impossible to plan such route, honestly... I suggest the DX version, the color dungeon isn't too bad either. I have done a route for this to be used for my future speedrun. Won't be hard to remake it for a TAS instead. Shall I?=) Chef: If you do, I'm ready to bitch around with you with it if you like.

For me I always get a desync at the very first bomb boost, outside clock town, the boost never comes and he just stands there with the shield, sucks...

I've encouter an issue... I gave Super Star Wars Return of the Jedi another shot, but the music is still off but I tried anyway so I did a short movie. During the recording I held B for a long while in order to boost with the landspeeder, when I played the movie the input showed that B was held old the time, but the game reacted as I was using turbo... Well, now what?

Two other things that we were trying for a long time were. 1. Glitch pass the walrus. We have both been very close to it. But it seems impossible... If that could be done, no trading items would be needed anymore, as you can go into Kanalet Castle without giving away the bananas. This is however much slower to do atm instead of just use the current route. 2. Glitch into Turtle's Rock without using the ocarina song. Would skip the annoying sign maze and some rupee collection. Too bad, none of these sequence breaks worked, at least couldn't we find out how to do it :(.

So... Shall I finish my started runs on the 1.43 version, or shall I try to hex edit it into a 1.51 movie instead? Or just remake it from scratch?

In the end he wanted to work with the project the secret way :D. So we have had contact with eachother for awhile, planning routes and searching tricks and such. And we both wanted you to be surprised when the release came. As some things was better to not spoil for ya.

Mwl: He doesn't feel to die in the run, would have been lame... Well, I have seen all your WIPs and such, so I know the run is awesome. You even surprised me with a lot of stuff (Going invis when superjumping over the bridge in the mountains for example.). Very well made run, as you already know I think... Yes vote :D.

Haven't read everything in the thread so don't blame me for that... There's no doubt that it is an impressive movie. But as you know that Comicalflop is working with a full run, it is just stupid to submit these four tracks... It's like starting from a savefile in like Mega Man, complete the final lvls to the credits and then submit a run. Would that be accepted? Of course not! I can agree with some points, Comical. But people will still love your run, no doubt. People would find it awesome to see the SMB run be improved. So why not show us an improvement of this cup along with the other three? Don't give up on us. I'm counting on you anyway! Btw, voting no.

Here's the new version of lvl 1, 732 frames saved http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/5183/MauiMallardLvl1V2.smv Well... was TASing (At least tried: FAILURE) ALttP for awhile, switch to this game and let the game be on for awhile. When I continued I already was at the first lvl, so I went into the room and jumped around with turbo just for fun when I suddenly fell through... Oh well. It will only works at this point because the wind gives you some extra speed in that direction. Looks nice anyway =P.

Find a neat glitch in the first lvl. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/5178/FloorGlitch.smv Hopefully I'll be able to edit it... Whatever, I will redo the whole run.
