I think the screenshot @ 2:59 in the video. As Tails is walking away from the explosion of the rockets would be a great screenshot :) Yes vote.

Hmm, Super Metroid randomizer... Sounds fun, actually. I'll try it out myself since I love Super Metroid too. I followed you. I also might race you if I get good enough at the randomizer.
The one I'm working on right now is trolling the hell out of me. I had to do most of Upper Norfair without the Varia Suit (it was where the X-Ray Scope is) and I need the Speed Booster (which is MIA so far) to get the Gravity Suit (at the Wrecked Ship R-Tank.) I'm getting the feeling I'll need to do some Suitless Maridia. The ranzomization tool can be had from http://smrandomizer.codeplex.com
Yeah, I've been messing around with the randomizer, it's pretty fun. Though I've been turning suitless maridia off for now. I love the Kappa reserve sprite edit :D

Fact is I can't really approach that kind of usage of the emulator 'cause the "re-recording" feature is not officially supported so I have to record the video via HyperCam3 and truncate it after the recording has been done. Pretty much I modify a 504x480 video that can even last 40 minutes of footage and reach a size of 30-40 gigas. Wish me luck until a re-recording feature is added officially to PPSSPP emulator.
Doesn't it work with Fraps or CamStudio?
Fraps doesn'ts support many emulators unfortunately, also I should do the same cut and crop acting with fraps-recording anyway. So what do you think about the Tases uptil now? There are someone that are favoured among the one you've watched?
Fraps will support them if you make the graphics rendering be OpenGL or DirectX. Dxtory (which also has frame limiting) is better than fraps though for that.

Basically, a thread to advertise your twitch.tv streams. Plus, I need people to watch when I'm bored. :D Ideally, I would hope that only active members of this community post here (some random person who only has 1 post, unless they are a TASer with a published movie, for instance, posting their info here isn't really welcome.) This is not a place to bash anyone, for any reason. Twitch Username: Link to stream page: Do you stream Speedruns?: - TAS work?: - Races from SpeedRunsLive?: What else do you stream?: Do you stream on a schedule?: Other info: If you stream on a schedule, please include the schedule in the other section. So for me... Twitch Username: Torn338 Link to stream page: www.twitch.tv/Torn338 Do you stream Speedruns?: Yes - TAS work?: Not yet, though I might stream Spyro 2. - Races from SpeedRunsLive?: Yes What else do you stream?: Multiplayer games (Halo 3 + 4/Gears of War 1), casual playthroughs of a random game. Do you stream on a schedule?: No Other info: I don't stream on a schedule, so it'd be ideal to follow me if you actually want to watch me play something. I also stream my races with my friends (or random people). I'm active in responding to chat, so I'll try to keep you entertained. I play Gears of War 1 over 2, 3, and Judgement, though I may eventually stream Gears 3 too. Halo 4 is also common in my stream. That's pretty much it for me.

My theory on TAS'ing this game, since you have two characters is controlling both characters at once (Analogue and C sticks), while being away from each other (in separate rooms), swapping between them when you need to open a door (or pick up an item of importance) and continue onward... meeting up when necessary (or even dropping the item at a point when you know the other character is going to cross it later?). I suppose you'll be doing something similar? or? Also, can you make encodes of your WIPs. My computer can't run dolphin at 60fps and I would like to offer my suggestions without having to watch the movies at 5 fps :P

Lol the official encode definitely needs to have the DDR type side panel just because it's so much more interesting that way :)

I've got a rather interesting thing to say about mouse input for Hourglass. Note: I've not messed with the download you provided :P, so forgive me if I am wrong here... Are you going to provide actual "real" mouse movement. For example, say point A is on the left of my screen, Point B in the Middle , point C on the right. For me to get from Point A to point C, it is required to go to point B. My thought is, all TAS's would be invalid if you're able to go from point A without actually having to move towards Point B, before Point C; and can just go straight to Point C. Basically, if I can be at point A, enter frame advance mode, then move the mouse to Point C, then frame advance again... on playback, it'd appear that the mouse is teleporting.... So my question is, perhaps code a "mouse" in hourglass as well, instead of using the real mouse?

There is a Medievil 2 Beta 0.51 version of the game, if you are interested, pm rawtalent, or write a post here: http://sirdanielfortesque.proboards.com/thread/542/medievil-2-beta-51-differences You can refer to me if he don't wants to give you the ISO, but I think he will send it to you, he's a nice guy :D Okay, I just wanted to show you these two things, if I find some other interesting stuff about the game, I will post it. Keep up the good work!
I'll be sure to check it out after we possible the "so so called Alpha version" of Medievil 1. The rolling demo thing. Also yeah, I saw that glitch but yeh. I'm not sure when I'll get around to this game, but it can't really be TAS'd yet because PSXJin (the tasing emulator) is awful for this game. Hopefully BizHawk PSX will fix that. Thanks by the way!

You can skip the demos to get to the third demo played (NG demo) if you mean that?

I agree.

I don't think 105% warrants separate categories for the demo glitch(?). It could be considered a speed/entertainment tradeoff instead, wasting 2 minutes at the start so that there will be less time spent in the warp room overall.
It should, since it's a major exploit thing. My opinion though.

That seems WAY too much like a hidden debug feature instead of a glitch. Irregardless, I wouldn't call that NG+ since it isn't something unlocked by beating the game (Hidden Mansion in Luigi's Mansion, keeping items from previous playthrough/unlocked weapons like Chicago Typewriter in Resident Evil 4, for instance)... Glitched run would sound a bit silly, since it just gets powerups early. Better name for the category, anyone? Also, say it really is a debug feature intentionally programmed in the game.. they've rejected those here (see Saturn's GT code run for Super Metroid).

Voted. Good luck! I could never go away to another planet like that. I'm amazed so many people actually want to go, but it's not me. I never thought about it like the way you did. Also, that's a drawing!?! I'm ashamed at how bad my drawings are compared to yours.. Though, I draw anime pictures :p

For what it's worth, the input frame part of the run was interesting. If you've ever played this game, you'd know doing it that fast and precise, without gaps between your buildings, is without a doubt, impossible for a human. Honestly though, 500,000 would seem like a better goal, since that is a metro, though I'm guessing you wanted the "You're a great mayor" screen. Either way would really be described as "winning", sans credits. Big difference: 500K: 28 mins 600K: 47 mins Though, I do like how you do the money glitch compared to RTA runs :) ... I'll vote yes, what the hay :P

No one mentioning Yu Yu Hakusho? D: I'm an anime lover... If I were to name my major favorites it'd be a real long post. So basically, top 5... Yu Yu Hakusho Elfen Lied Lucky Star Death Note Dragon Ball/ Z/ GT (GT is meh, but oh well).

Well duh, this find (that is old according to one of the comments) makes no difference for the routing for most of the game, only skips two levels that could be completed super quick anyway.
I've never seen it... though I don't keep up with Spyro 1 or 3 as much as 2. Also, I'm pretty positive from his Sonic 06 videos, the commenter, he meant Touval is breaking the game as bad as Sonic 06 has been. Time saved is time saved. :p

For the screenshot, for those listed at least, my money is definitely on 53663 or 95700. All of the other screenshots, as a long time Super Metroid player (although I haven't in quite a while), don't quite stand out to me, mainly because they're something that looks like it can be done easily enough in real time compared to the first screenshot, or as unappealing as the second one. At first, I was leaning more towards the second, but the more and more I look at the first one, the more awesome it becomes lol.
Well Screenshot 4 and 8 showcases tricks that have never been done in any other run (and can't really be done on console), though they may not say much unless you know the context. The Draygon one is partly due to being unusual among TASes in how it kills Draygon (which is significant as it saves a lot of time), and also because I like how it looks like Draygon, due to his backwards pointing bloodshot eye is freaking out and trying to escape from being run over by the oncoming shinespark train. The 5th just looks funny to me and 3 and 7 where mostly chosen for aesthetics (as well as being unique to this run), but are perhaps the least interesting. I'd probably go with 1, 2, or 6 myself.
Needless to say, when I posted that comment, since I had not watched the run fully yet, I just thought it was a regular crystal flash, and didn't expect it to clip like that. It was quite interesting to see, but at the same time, others who haven't watched the run yet might think the same as I did (and probably will), which is my reasoning as to why I'd not use that. 1, looks like a rocket ship to me, perhaps a thing showing how fast the movie is? :p 2, just looks interesting. 6, I'd not noticed that until you said it. Though not very noticeable from a first glance, though I guess I'm just being sort of picky :p. Definitely funny though.
