Can we expect to see this published in the near future, crediting rikku as the creator? Fastest run wins, as awsome as AKA's run is. Im suprised it will be king of the hill so briefly.

In regards to my earlier posts... The first one shows the glitch being triggered, the second just shows some of the glitches with chests.

In the neither world, you are free to walk through walls, so you can pass from dundeon 1 to 2, and so on (keep walking upward) the maps fail to act properly, but you can walk out the front door of any dungeon to return to the outside world at the entrance of that dungeon, but turn the game back to normal funtion.
It seems that you can only get from dungeons 1-4, but there are ways to end up in the later 4 dungeons (I ended up there before, but Im not certain as to how it happened) and possably the windfish egg (though I havent gotten there before, it is probably around there some place).
Accidently obliterated my old post thinking I was making a new one. Sorry if this makes reading the earlier discussion confusing.
The real question is how and if you can control whaat is inside chests, and weather or not its worth making a glitched run for this game when there is already a fast as hell glitched run. At very least, its fun to watch a game fall apart in terms of game mechanics. I loved exploring this glitch back in the day.

I kind of like the name.
but it might help to know what soulpussy's native language is, we have enough of a spectrum of people here there is a good chance someone would speak his language.
More on topic, I did some testing on this, and it seems that it only works on cliffs that have that exact seperation distance. if we had some way of measuring the hights of the platforms, we could know for sure what places this trick will work.

Might be too long for a tas... the SDA record is just shy of 5 hours, I dont know how that sounds to anyone else, but that might just be too long for my feeble attention span.
Here is hopeing for a major shortcut to keep a run in the sub-3 hour range!

These files use a naming convention of (author)-(game).(tag) While this makes sence, I think that for organizational reasons, listing the name of the game first, and the author second might allow for better organization. I often have trouble finding a run I didnt jsut download because I often forget who did the run, or the aberviation of the game title is otherwise incoherent (Bionic commmando=hnf) wtf? I know hnf= Hitler no Fukkatsu, but seriously people...

I think you might be confused with the level up menu xebra. Not sure that is what you ment, but when you level up, he has to deal with that menu long wnough to cancle it.

I roughed out a solution to level 14, and try as I may, I cant get it any faster.

I know that all the levels before 14 (with the possable exception of 13) have been improved, all I was tryign to do was figure out the best way through 14.

That is exactly why we leave this sort of decision in the hands of the site moderators.
They "obsolete" old runs where there are ones faster, they leave up things like lttp unglitched because it is a fun one to watch.
They know what they are doing, they have done a nice job so far. Using the "other" category as they have been is approapriate.

This is going to be amazing when the whole run is finished, what you have already is quite good. shaving this much time off of a movie that was already so well done is quite an accomplishment.

I agree it would make a hell of a tas, but my best efforts have lead me to restert the run 3 times now. Im too much of a perfectionist to keep going without restarting a 4th =P
Now we can only hope Admiral or acmlm pull through for us!

The original Zelda: Link's Awakening. It's somewhat like an alternate universe. You could explore it more if you had the flippers but I didn't want to play that much into the game.
Check it out
This is a glitch a friend of mine taught me a very very long time ago.

I found a similar glitch playing on the actual cart a long time ago, so I thought this would be a good oppertunity to make a vid of it. It is like the one you showed off, except you get into the alternate universe inside a dungeon, so you can walk from level 1 to any other level.
One thing I couldnt show is that if you open a closed chest in this wierd bugged mode, it tends to hold the level 2 power bracelet or the magic wand, regardless of what was supposed to be in the chest.
Edit: Found a chest to play with!
Note that this second vid wont make any sence without seeing the first, or at least Tailz' video.
