you knw in SMW when you go to star road, beat all that and go into the middle star. You go to the black "special" land with level names: Gnarly, Tubular, Way Cool ect... What happens after that? I don't remember and I want to know now rather than after I beat them all.

I have been looking for the super mario world soundtrack for weeks now. All of them ones I find don't work! It's making me really mad. I got the Donkey Kong Country rsn, and mario 1, 2 and 3 rsn and they all work fine. Only Super Mario World doesn't work. So, if you have one, or know where to get it tell me please! The OCremix one doesn't work for me, does it work for anyone else?

Wow really? Thats really in depth. I am usually pretty anti guides because you can get it for free on the internet, but a real nice frame data sheet would be really nice to have.

Yeah like I said if I leave the filters off then it is just blocky the whole way, but I don't want it to be blocky, thats why I keep it on smooth... Well how sad, I guess I can't play SD3 with smooth graphics.

I friend of mine who has a larger collection of SNES roms then me had a SNES game called Kid Icarus the Legend of the Angel or something like that. The ROM didn't work at his house. pressing start or any button wouldn't do anything. So I downloaded it tonight when I got home and I was sad to find that it didn't work for me either. I can get further though, I can press start and start a new game, when I get a screen with a bunch of stats on it, but no game... Has anyone gotten this game to work or played it?

Well if I put it into blocky mode, then it always remands blocky... But in smooth mode or eagle mode it always becomes blocky when the text comes in. I even tried downloading multiple versions of the English translation. Maybe it just doesn't work with different styles...

I am encountering a strange problem with my SD3. I have my emulator (SNES9Custom) set to smooth graphics. But in SD3 whenever there is text on the screen (people talking) it gets blocky, and then as soon as the talking goes away it goes back to smooth... It's kinda annoying. Anyone know anything about a problem like this?

So what does it mean to be a Nihilist and what does it mean to be an exostensialist? If you can be one and not the other, then they must mean different things.

Anyone know of a *good* MAME emulator for Mac by the way? I got a bad one that hardly runs anything... The only game it actually runs is XMen, which actually isn't bad... But seriously I tried to get Metal Slug, and Tekken, and none of them work.

Jesus well I didn't know we are talking COMPLETE collections. I have 100 SNES games and 100 NES games and it's more then I can handle and it only takes up like 40 mb... Haha well you are obviously alot more serious then me, so yeah get that large hardrive then. (edit) I just checked, my SNES+NES+Sega add up to 200MB. But I only have like 20 Sega games.

I have a friend who has a modded Xbox with everything on it. He says configuring the controllers is kind of a bitch, but once it's all set we played some classic Mario Kart 64. It was great. I really don't think harddrive size is a problem unless you plan on downloaded xbox games as well. because the average emulator package isn't bigger then 10mb, MAME can get a bit bigger than that. But xbox has like 20GB I think? Not sure, but I know it's enough. But what about xbox live!? None of you guys play have it?

Nitpicking someone spelling and grammar on a forum is so mature, and how are you *not* getting on my case? You nitpicked my spelling, then you ingore the question I asked. "1. I don't see why being from Minnesota has anything to do with my spelling, and secondly, a typo is hardly a representation of my English." I did expand on the 1. but I suppose to make it proper I should have used 1. and 2. or said first, and second. But I guess I am going to have to deal with those mistakes. I edited my post to add in the reply to blublu, if you must know. You spelled Minnesota wrong in your first reply (only 1 T) and in your left reply "seeing as how you edited it in all" you pulled a little look-away on this sentance it seems. Are we over this now? Can we be done playing grammar police? (Edits, are me trying to figure out how to use BOLD properly...)

Zurraco, 1. I don't see why being from Minnesota has anything to do with my spelling, and secondly, a typo is hardly a representation of my English. I just crossed saying "I am really curious" and "I really want to know" I must have looked away for a second and I am REALLY SORRY I DID. and I know a PC is a gaming system, and I know most people here play all the classic games on the emulators. But since we are a gathering of gamers of all shapes and sizes, I am curious how many here own the new age consoles. How many play Xbox live, or the PS2 online. What your favorite modern games are. Blublu, I am as excited for you to get the controllers as you are excited to get them! I have been playing Contra III like God intended... And tomorrow I am going to have a friend come over and we are going to hit Strike Gunner HARD.
