Hey everyone. I am going on an epic quest to give my video game music collection real track names. I was wondering if anyone has a good place to go, or knows the actual track tittles for the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for NES? The ninja gaiden wikipedia page does have the track lists for Gaiden 1, although I am having a heck of a time identifying the song to name, but I can't find Gaiden 2 or 3 names anywhere. Any help?

World of Goo and Aquaria are both highly polished releases. Not sure how you could call them weak.

I am really in love with this Aquaria game. I can't believe I have never even heard of it before. I haven't even played World of Goo yet and I heard that is pretty good. I tried Gish for a second but it kinda runs like crap on OS X. You need Rosetta to even play it, and it doesn't go full screen.

Maybe you have heard of this, but a bunch of indie developers got together and put out one of those neat "Pay whatever you want for the games" promos. http://www.wolfire.com/humble I went ahead and bought it for 10$ since I heard so much stuff about World of Goo being so cool. I haven't even played it, I have been stuck playing Aquaria! I love this game, it's so pretty and awesome and the music is cool. 10$ was worth it for that game alone. Anyway, you guys should check it out. Only 5 days left.

Sometimes I like to just sit down and play SNES. I don't know what game exactly, just any good game that I like. Nearly ALWAYS I end up playing one of five games for one simple reason. I don't remember what games are good. Especially games I never played as a child that get lost in the shuffle. Also with the inclusion of Japanses named games into my collection I have a huge ROM folder. So I have started to color code the roms. Red = Good 1-player game Blue = Good RPG game Yellow = Good 2-player game That way I can always find the good ones, and all the games that aren't color coded are either bad, or uncatagorized. Although I should probably make a color for bad games too... That way I wont re-test them over and over when I forget. Or I could just toss them. But there is something about having a collection.

Thank you for such an in-depth post. I started a fire emblem GBA game, and I need to try FF tactics on GBA also. Seems like there is a huge lack of SNES games of this genre... At least in the states.

Please make sure to list what systems everything is on. Yeah fire emblem... I should give those a shot since i like marth/roy so much in SSBM. What is the best Fire Emblem game that in English? Or at least has a good translation?

Hey guys, I am looking for a game that is similar two Gladius for XBOX but older. NES, SNES, DOS, Genesis type games. Turn based strategy games that are the "best of breed." The only game of this genre I have ever played has been Gladius, and I really REALLY loved it. I am hoping there is one even better out there somewhere. I have tried Ogre Battle but couldn't seem to get into it...

Obviously I didn't investigate this whole thread to see if this is new or not... But I really wanted to make sure you guys see this if you haven't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0IkNugZ3jI&feature=related It's Donkey Kong Country (SNES) ported to NES. It looks amazing!!! For NES that is.

Hm sounds interesting. I just bought Castle Crashers recently and I have been eyeing that Bionic Commando remake... Maybe I will check this out also, at least the demo. I wish I could download this on some kind of emulator though.

Yeah you can keep Wrex from being killed. I really liked this game, I beat it 4 times. But it kinda has the same fate as Fable. Not being able to live up to the hype. There are only 3 major "events" in the game where you actually get to choose the outcome, and the choices couldn't be more clear cut. Save teammate A or B, save the Council or Kill Soverign and kill Wrex or not. Everything else is just an attitude thing. Which is kinda nice because it lets you act anyway you want without screwing the story up. In games like KOTOR where you get rewarded for being super good or super bad, you are just forced to always choose the bottom option or top option in dialogue in order to achieve those goals. In this game you can just say what you feel the character would say, and totally go with the flow.

I don't want to spoil anything. But I am pretty sure there is a plot twist. As a matter of fact, I was happy there wasn't a plot twist. The whole time I was getting ready for "The bad guy is actually good, and the alliance is actually bad" turnaround coming. I was happy to see the bad guy was actually bad. Knowing who the bad guy is from the beginning isn't new or anything. I mean, look at FF7, no twists there either. The story is all about figuring out why he is doing it, and what his final plan is. I liked this game fine. I was very similar to KOTOR, which I loved. Although I guess that game had 5 places to visit instead of 4 like this game. It was pretty much the same kind of deal.

"Flatland," it's really strange, and very interesting. Steven Hawkings "A Brief History of Time" is a great book that explains many high level theories in an understandable way (Understandable to like, regular people)

Not only do I not have the game files, I have a Mac, so I can't do much with the .exe file even if I had it. I was hoping exactly that would have been done by someone else already. I guess the quest continues.

Yeah I tried googling for them, I didn't find anything like I wanted. I found some game rips sounds but they are all polluted with actual game sounds. I want the original Wavs or whatever format they are in, so they are clean and crisp.

The guy in halo says double kill. But this isn't a which is a better game post. I do not care. I only want sound effects of the voice from either game.

I am looking for some wavs or mp3s of that badass voice that says "HEADSHOT" or "DOUBLE KILL" and all those generally cool comments. I tried looking for them, but had little luck. Does anyone here have the hook up on where to get that stuff?
