I felt like adding something here. Did you know that you can access a mini-game by entering the boat like, erhm, 100 times and simultaniously hold A + B (atleast I think it's A + B)? This would not be seen in a time attack but I found it cool when I tested it a couple of months ago. ;P

I was thinking about doing this game but now I don't have too. I haven't watched your first run but 1:45 sounds really fast to me. Good luck on your next attempt!

Nice to see this one being done too. :) I don't have advice or anything, because I have never played this one. I'm posting just to say I'm watching your progress. ;)
I can only agree to what Tombad just said, and also that the last boss in this game is one of the most evil bosses ever! Therefor it would be awesome to see it done ;) Edit: Also, this was apparently my 700:th post if anyone cares.

I had no idea that toads could fly! Even though I don't know very much of this game the movie was impressive! I voted yes. Great run.

"Casual hello! It's me! Zoidberg"... No wait, that's not me at all ;) It's a good quote though from the series. Ah well, howdy.

Awesome! The ladder glitch was indeed cool, the one at the first stage (or maybe that was falling through the floor-glitch). Anyways, I only got one question: will there be a full version of this game using those glitches?

Aww, that's not good ;) Atleast not for me whom really liked what Mr Teri did with the bombs. Another question, edit away the waitings? What for? Wouldn't that destroy the movie? Waiting is usually not the most exciting part of movies but to edit them away? It sounds funky to me.

I would love to see some bomb jumping in the few places where waiting is unavoidable. Mr. Terim.. made this and I found it absolutely awesome because I know how hard it is on a console. This is however only an aesthetic aspect of it and in the end it's you who decides but then again, it would look great ;)

You scored 86% Beginner, 73% Intermediate, 68% Advanced, and 61% Expert! Well, it was a good test though, even though I apparently need to polish my english ;) Didn't test the google thing.

Oh. Thanks for that Xerophyte. I got confused by the ending scene because the boss is also named Trojan, that made me think that the hero might have a different name.

Is it Paris? That's awesome. Another thing I like very much in this game is the music at the last boss and a bit after he is killed, when the ending scene starts ;P It's really.. unusual somehow

I'm aware that the game is a little bad looking. It is though, in my opinion, fun to play ;) The small stones cannot be dodged with the shield.

Shiner did that in a speedrun and didn't warp at all...I'll watch the video now to make sure he didn't miss any. *2-3 minutes pass by* Yeah, he didn't miss any and moved on to stage 2.
Hmm. I'm so sure that I have warped from stage 1 to stage 3. Maybe there was something else then. Unfortunately I have no idea of what that could be.

That would be awesome! But how does this work now? Did they work on yet another version or is this _the_ final thing?

That's odd, my ROM says it is the USA version, but maybe it's not?

Although it's not a particularly impressive game, this movie looks clearly much better than the previous version. Looks like you found a way to slash without delay without jumping.
Yes. It's not slower to jump and slash if done properly but this looks better anyhows. I think I noticed a few flaws in my previous run where I stopped for a frame or two after landing. This is gone now though ;)

Woo. The graphic thing is most probably the ROM. I had this problem with my first run but then I got a better ROM and everything worked out fine. The desynch shouldn't be there though.. Edit: It works fine for me. It should be the ROM that is the problem then.

If I recall correct you can warp from stage 1 to maybe stage 3 by killing ALL enemies in stage 1. Of course you don't need to shot down all the stones that the volcano spits out but all regular enemies must be killed. This would save some time in a time attack.

I used to play this game a lot back in the days and I would really like to see a time attack on this. Anyways, in this case I don't see anything wrong with using the level code. This is because as mentioned, it would decrease the movie length and thus make it more interesting. Also, if I recall correct, it doesn't matter on which difficulty level you beat the second last boss (in order to start all over again in the quest for the bracelet). This means one could beat him on the easiest difficulty (for speed) and then automatically start at the first stage playing at the hardest difficulty. This would make it much shorter and probably more interesting. But that's just my thoughts. It is one of the harder games out there that I've played. I never managed to beat the second last boss with the bracelet, even though I fought him maybe 10 minutes before he completely destroyed my itchy underpants.

I'll add another "AWESOME!!!!" to the pile ;) This was among the coolest things I've seen. I especially liked how you kicked all Reznors in the forsts and some fancy flying, I think it was Butter Bridge (the autoscrolling stage) that was most impressive! I got one question though and I didn't find the answer in your well written submission text. In Chocolate Island 2, isn't there 3 exits? The two you got + one with (I think that's the one I'm looking for) with a lots of those ugly dragons.
