I would love to see your skilled speed run as soon as possible. I too will leave my apartment for christmas. However, don't rush TSA! The way you handled ZooT I don't think you'll have any problems with Zelda 3, which also in my opinion is one of the best games ever. So, I could wait another few months for it to see it done ;P

I never finishied Omega. I managed to beat Shinryuu though but Omega was just to hard when I played it. So that would definitely would be cool to see.

That's a run I would like to see! Reason for this is from what I remember the A-D levels are insanely hard. I really enjoyed the run that is up now because I know how hard this game is compared to SMB 1.

I haven't seen it but if I recall correct there was a faster run aat speedruns.org. Like in 17 minutes or faster. Therefor I should vote no, but I don't remember the exact time so I'll wait with my vote until someone can confirm it.

If I have got this right, TSA makes speed runs on a real SNES. I, for example makes time attacks with emulators. Speed runs and time attacks are not the same thing by the definition I have learned and that I now use.

I better add some thoughts of job usage while it's on my mind. When you got the thief job you should have one character using that almost all the time, not for good fighting power and not for detecting secret passages (duh) but for the speed of it. When someone is a thief they will run faster. Also for brute force the knight is the best I think. Maybe combined with ninja for 4x-slash. But that could be hard to get because that will require some AP points. Also, would it be a good idea to get Mimic? One thing that would be awesomely cool is to beat him with force! I have never done this since he is incredible hard! Atleast he was when I fought him. The blue knight (is it knight?) could be good because he can learn good magics. I unfortunately have very little knowledge in this since I like to beat enemies rather then kill them with magic. But they talk about doom lv.5 so it can't be that bad I suppose ;) That's what I can think of right now...

Sounds good. Later on I can hopefully (if you don't already know about it) toss out some ideas regarding job usage. I think that red wizard would be pretty useless for example since that job cannot cast the strongest black and white magics.

And this is just a proof-of-concept video.. I'm sure someone with more patience and skill at luck manipulation can do it better ^_^;; I'm just showing a path and testing possibilities.
I hope you will reconcider that and that you will finish this run ;) Still, you are doing a great job. If you don't finish it I will eventually. Even if it takes me 2 years!

Hajimemashite (This is unfortunately the only "hello how are you?"-phrase I know in japanese. And the word "neko" which has nothing to do with it at all ;P

One of the pair is easy. (I did not use this pattern in my movie.) the other is difficult. (I used this pattern once, in Norfair.(near the Hi-Jump-Boots-room)) Which do you say...?
If you have the energy of doing this, I mean, it doesn't affect the run at all, it simply would look cool, I would like any of these ;)

If you make a new, improved version, may I have a request? I simply wonder if you cold use bombs to stay in air when you are in ball shape (bouncing at/from the bombs). For example when you wait for the 4 statues to explode/vanish before entering Tourian. This doesn't affect anything but it would look really cool because I know this is very hard to perform! If you don't want to perform this it's ok anyways ;) I think your run is VERY impressive as it is right now! Good luck man!

I don't have the SNES emulator yet so unfortunately I can't watch it yet. But as I said, I can't imagine this being bad since your last movie was pretty impressive.

I'd say www.tradera.com in this case. I have bought over 50 old games from there. If you are lucky even the more rarer games can be cheaper. Also, compared to the online shops that exists (retrosuperstore, spelia ...) it's really cheap. The onlineshops has ridicoulus prizes on their games.

Yeah that's possible. Only problem is that if you kill a bunch of those flying whatevers there will be new ones. Good idea though.

Out of curiosity I must ask, did you beat my record? Also, when someone (me in this case) stops a movie my input ends there. So In that case I couldn't have entered my initials because after I stop the movie it's up to the encoder (in most cases Bisqwit) to set the length of the avi. I guess he could have shortened it a bit. Like stopping the avi after 1 second on the high score screen. It's however an interesting thought, I have done some more games with high score-input after the game ends. Maybe I should redo them and put my initials in BUT the movie might be longer?

Is it a detour? But maybe you don't need to visit that town at all.. Good idea though. That knife could be very strong later on.

Ah great. Well then the route should be optimized already ;) Playing at hard mode should add tons of more kills, only problem is that one crash means no wings and that could be a problem.
