To handle a PSX disc database, can we download and include some variant of the redump.org database perhaps? Shall save a lot of headache building a new database from scratch.

Unfortunately games in multi-thread mode may crash when saving and/or loading sates, it's not well handled. I have a couple of ideas for that, but I haven't had time to touch the code since August. Since I am the only "active" developer of Hourglass-Resurrection, I'm afraid the program is at a standstill right now. :(

Can you explain why? They have the same physics, right?
Same physics as far as I know, but the graphics and music are so much better!

Perhaps I am thinking too much in terms of "gui.register()" then.

Figured it out, I wasn't using the while true do emu.frameadvance loop. It works like I want now. I do however think that the behavior detailed above shall not happen if this loop is omitted.

I am trying to write a LUA script that runs a function during the event "event.atframeend()", the problem is that the script stops whenever I let the mouse pointer reach the script-listview, or if I click outside the LUA console. It also seems that "event.onexit()" gets called very early, if I try to do finalizing things on that event they will be executed before the "event.atframeend()" event. What could I be doing wrong? BizHawk 1.8.4.

I picked up an interest in TASes when I saw the published Soul Blazer TAS, and then it all went from there.

Perhaps one shall participate for once, though my time in this period will be very limited. If some team wants a "liability", let me know!

A mouse disabler? Hourglass doesn't pass on anything "mouse" to any game that it runs, unless you use Resurrection, which is not intended for use yet.

SP should be the stack pointer, which keeps track of the head of the stack, it's a very important pointer when you trace PUSH / POP opcodes.

You need to run the prereqs installer. It will install the necessary .NET frameworks to run BizHawk The error code means components could not be found.

Didn't have time to watch this until now, I normally have difficulties sitting through longer TASes of Spyro-games. Not this TAS though. Very well done, and super entertaining! I voted yes, even though that doesn't matter a whole lot now.

The games running too fast, did you reduce the FPS on those?

'branched' Get it? Get it?? Get it???
When making nitpick posts, one always makes at least one mistake in the text pointing out the nitpick, it's a rule of the universe :P

I've never been able to open a puush.me link. I think they may have blocked some Swedish IP ranges.

I misunderstood the fireball. IF you can charge up a sword attack while using the guardian, this might be possible: (If not, skip the rest of this post) To skip using the guardian a 3rd time, your initial strike as they gather will have to be for 10 damage, from the sounds if it there might not be enough time. Begin charging your 2nd sword attack, then use two guardian attacks which shall leave you with 2 knights with 16 health each, then release the sword attack. I am not sure though if this strategy would be faster than using the guardian for the 3rd time, unless the time lost is saved by not having to collect more MP. I don't really understand how MP works in this game.

Since Hourglass has no mouse support: not at all. I am adding it but it's a slow process and I currently don't have a lot of spare time. I am also not sure if Call of Duty even runs correctly as it is now, even if there was mouse support, as it is quite complex, and many things are not handled completely.

Will it be possible to do 3 strikes with the fire guardian to damage all 4 of the knights with all 3 strikes? Then in between the fire guardian strikes you hit each knight for 7 damage. Might be a better way, perhaps you can connect a hit with several knights if you can line them up. The effectiveness of this approach depends on if you can use fire guardian strike 3 times, and how long the cool down is for it. But with my limited knowledge of the game that feels like the best strategy right now.
