Why don't you time it with one wall?

I was bored, so here is a RAM Watch file for you: Copy the contents into a text document, and save it as [something].wch
3
00000	030018E4	w	s	0	Character action
00001	03000CEF	b	s	0	X Speed
00002	03002DC0	b	s	0	Y Speed
To use the file, open RAM Watch from the emulator Cheats menu, then open the file. The X and Y speed work rather interestingly, they depend on character action to actually have an effect. That means X speed will only have an effect when you are moving left or right for example.

TAS IT HARDER
Let me finish my lab assignment first.
Ok, Christmas is over, and I finally got time to TAS this. All I can say is that it's actually more annoying than I thought it would be, since I discovered that there's corner boosting in this game. That, and lag seemingly disappears without reason just by doing something at a different frame. Oh, and just like Monster House, the address for character's position changes every room. 0_o
Sounds to me like a kind of pointer system, try searching RAM with the memory addresses you know and see if you can find some address that contains those position addresses. Like this: Room A, position at Address X Room B, position at Address Y Attempt to find an address Z that contains X when in A, and Y when in B.

Yes, try with hotkeys, I am quite certain that it's the menus that cause this problem.

I wasn't particularly entertained by this. Some glitches had a nice WTF but overall it was rather dull. Voting Meh.

Are you starting the recording from the menu or hotkeys? The menu has some issues that messes up Frogger 2 in the way that you describe for this game.

Sorry to say but I doubt an emulator will show up anytime soon.

Emulator requests are a lot easier made than emulators are coded. A few questions: Has any game been dumped? How much is known about the system? Do the "Plug in and Play" games share components between releases other than the TV plug? (same CPU, PPU ... etc.)

Haven't both Snes9x and ZSNES become deprecated?
Yes, but that's hardly a point here. We have threads for these emulators, and a SNES subforum is certainly the most logical place to put this content. Plus, there is still relevant discussion to be had (people are still using snes9x for instance, and encoders are always re-encoding things).
I just figured that there should maybe be a deprecated notice on them, like the Dega emulator for SMS TASing.
