PCSX2 1.0 works pretty good and is a LOT better than 0.9.8, however: The current design of the emulator is not deterministic enough to make it feasible to implement any kind of RR tools. Also it is still dubious if the CPU emulation is accurate enough for the TASes made on it to be "repeatable" on a real console considering that the EE-core code has not received any attention since 2010.

In my opinion there is no point in branching PCSX2 for an RR until the CPU and all other PUs are emulated at a satisfactory level. I am currently playing with the idea of writing a CPU verifier but I need to understand the info about the PUs better before I can begin planning and coding. I currently have no time to really dig myself into this.

A really old one, it hasn't been updated since 2010.

WarioWare is not considered a good TASing candidate because all games have a fixed timer. It cannot be speedran, and the superplays are not too entertaining. (See the Gruefood for other WarioWare submissions)

Mario Deluxe is considered the same as Super Mario Bros. and will not be accepted as a game. We do have a run of the "You vs Boo" races though.

gamer89512: Please use the edit button if you forgot to add something to your previous post instead of posting again. Some of the games: Zelda - A link to the Past 100% -> Might be done later, right now every active AlttP TASer here is slowly working on an improvement to the any% Yoshis Island 100% -> Being worked on, check the Yoshis Island thread. Lost Vikings 1 -> Done on the Genesis versions because you can control all 3 characters at once. Mario's Timemachine -> Will not be too entertaining Mario's Missing -> Will not be too entertaining MegaMan 7 eng 100% -> We do not publish several regions of the same game. JPN and USA will obsolete eachother if an improvement is done on respective version (not counting text length differences) Castlevania 4 eng -> See MegaMan 7 Please browse around the site and forum some to become more familiar with how we do things. Specially project threads for your favorite games, if you did, you would have for example known already that Yoshi's Island 100% is already being worked on.

The error means that you are missing some Windows components to run the emulator, these are not shipped with Windows by default. You can get these components here: DirectX Runtime Visual C++ 2010 Runtime 64bit

I am using only Kingston for USB sticks since 6-7 years and I never had an issue yet with those. (I don't own any sticks over 4 GB though)

I don't find any% THPS runs that entertaining to be honest, it's the wild and crazy solutions for getting all the goals of a level that is the most entertaining part of this game in my opinion. But that's just me.

I don't mean to offend anyone here but I think the language barrier is making it hard for us to help you as you have misunderstood basically everything that has been said so far. I suggest you ask for help in this forum where you can receive help in French: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=55

That was quite awesome, I'm sure it would be a very entertaining TAS if completed. Sadly I cannot help you in any other way than moral support because I do not know the game nor do I have time to learn it.

That was absolutely incredible. The Koala Kong fight was hilarious and Heavy Machinery was obliterated.

I know that it's published for a while now (4 years), I'm letting everyone know that even though it doesn't look improvable, it is. I did something in my walkthrough that I thought Chef did.... but he didn't, so if you want to go do this run and beat Chef contact me I'll help you and tell you were you can go a little faster than Chef. Still, such an awesome run to watch to this day.
Why don't you just post your discovery in the game discussion topic so that anyone who wants to do the improvement knows about it? Maybe the person who wants to improve it comes forward after you no longer come here (everyone moves on at some point), and then that person will have to figure it out for himself as you can no longer give the information.

Very well done, very entertaining. Yes vote. I also think that we should publish with the 2nd screen shot of the suggested ones.

I liked the idea of a Super Mario / Castlevania mash-up... But it didn't turn out so well, graphics where mostly cool, but the game is horribly slow and not all that exciting. I have to vote No for game choice.

Looks better now, now you have a flow. Try to knock Jin down so that he rises into your suicide, now that would be hilarious. For the Law vs Eddy fight, try to incorporate the Mugging move, and also the Tricky Step -> Fake Step Blow move. Remember to try to set up a glitched parry throw or 2 throughout the TAS, there are how-to videos on YT for how they work. Not all characters can do these, but I think Paul's glitched parries are pretty funny. (Check them all, I might have forgotten one that is funnier)

I love Bejewelled and I was psyched when I saw this run on the list. I saw a lot of fast gem switching, but I was expecting to see luck manipulation/future foretelling used to make a single move that creates a massive chain reaction that completes the entire level. The huge super hyper ultra mega chain reactions in Puyo Puyo-type games are the most exciting part. Hundreds of small moves are way less interesting than a small number of incredibly massive chain reactions. The increasingly bemused narrators' voice going "Good...Excellent!...Incredible!!...Unbelievable!!!" (or however it goes) would have been funny. Fast gem switching is just too easy in a TAS. When it comes to chain reaction games, go big or go home.
Could not have said it better myself. I have to vote No.

That was hilarious. I love the part of Stage 1, Round 2 when the Jin:s did symmetrical violence. It's even funnier as a Futurama fan as I always think about this line when I see it: "We're exactly the same. I know all her moves. Therefore, I've got the upper hand." And also this line: "Now, now, perfectly symmetrical violence never solved anything." Yes vote.

Works in Opera 12 here too, but it auto pauses every 3-4 seconds and I must press Play for it to continue. Windows XP 64-bit (aka Widows Server 2003 with XP interface), latest 64-bit flash plugin, 64-bit Opera install.
