While it was a really cool idea I have to agree with Mothrayas. Voted No.

Voting no, because what it essentially does is use a password to skip to the credits. Even if the password wasn't intended to do that, that doesn't change the fact a password was used to skip the game. I also didn't find it entertaining in the slightest, it was just going to chapter 3 (with minimal gameplay), waiting for a short while, and entering the password for instant credits. Doesn't count as a real speedrun, in my opinion.

Joystick support in lsnes is barely functional. Use a program like Joy2Key instead: http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm

This gets more absurd with every WIP. Great work so far!

Mine is probably PG-13 I guess it might come off as really scary to little kids.

To get the sound right in EWJ2 you would most likely need to use the lsnes emulator. lsnes is based of bsnes, which is the only emulator I know of that emulates the sound in EWJ2 correctly. Here's a quick link to the lsnes download topic: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12325 Here's also a quick tutorial on how to handle the Project screen that comes up after opening a ROM in lsnes: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=312097#312097

My only objection to this run is that you broke the forum because the authors are so many. Some stars where truly brilliant. Yes vote.

As far as i know, this isn't true. The only dev who cares at all about tasing is nitsuja, and he hasn't made a commit in 4 months now.
But he has promised to return and further improve the save fixes and speedups branches according to the devs.

I am voting yes for the exact same reasons as on the previous run.

With this new improved version I can safely vote yes. Extreme Kayaking does not seem like a good idea, and this TAS is the perfect proof of that, and a highly entertaining one at that.

Are people seriously considering this for publication? If I understood correctly, this isn't even a game, but just a prototype, an alpha version of a potential game that never got developed. It's not a complete game.
Bio Force Ape is a prototype game, that got published. Though it was more complete than this. ----------------------- I have not made up my mind yet on what to vote.

Give lsnes a try. That emulator can run Top Gear 3000 correctly, among other things. Apparently the GUI can be a bit hard to understand though I didn't think so. lsnes is based off bsnes, if you cannot figure out the GUI you can give bsnes a try because the GUIs are completely different.

When I heard the game music I thought the warning was a joke... It was not... My ears almost fell off when you picked up the first key. Anyway, as cool as it looked to avoid the enemies like that, it just wasn't very fun to watch. I have to vote Meh.

Assuming this is an April Fools submission. The entire entertainment value of the TAS was lost in this improvement. No.

I know this is a half-joke submission but I actually think this category has a place on the site. And the execution is good too. Yes vote.

If the action will pick up in the later missions I am sure this could be a lot of fun to watch.

.biz is already an extension, but I cannot remember for what. .bhm is really inappropriate since BHM is used in the dating world to refer to overweight men (Big Handsome Male), may lead people to creepy places if they find a .bhm file. .tas for me is quite misleading as it gives absolutely no hint at all what program it could belong to. I place my vote for one of these: .bkr .bkm .bhr (BizHawk Replay)
