#nesvideos, "Nesvideos" (on the homepage)... Of course, by now you all know that I prefer the "Nes"videos variant, so feel free to ignore my comments blah blah bias

But for starters, it's 1 letter too long to work as a nickname in Freenode.
Well, so much for that idea. "NesMoogle" doesn' thave the same ring (or does it?). But 13 letters is an odd place to stop allowing more letters. Edit... wait... (comparison of IRC names)
BagOfMagicFood
NesVideoMoogle
It seems like it would work....

I can't put together words to describe how awesome that is, so:

*Xkeeper is idly curious at the use of "A" as a name instead of "STEF"... Beyond that, I watched your latest WIP. I'm not terribly fond of the glitching, but it's certainly weird enough to be interesting, and there's always the normal speedrun at SDA.

Way, way, way too much spinning... but the rest of the movie made up for it, I guess. Yes vote.

Boulder Dash and this Biker Mice From Mars TAS use passwords to skip directly to the hardest part of the normal game. Boulder Dash should probably be in the concept demos category.
Personally, I believe "Concept Demos" are for movies that only aim to show a specific purpose that is not one of the main goals on this site (e.g., beating the game without "B", dominating the game by using a hacked SRAM, or movies that do not actually complete the game (but only exist to show something amusing or entertaining, or odd) Simply using a password to skip to the last "set" of levels doesn't fit into this category, I would hope, especially when a movie that plays through all levels would be rediculously boring (and rejected).

More tetris shenanigans (This is my 4th game. One of my earlier ones resulted in a really bad mistake and only 100000 points. Oh well.) I'm getting un-rusty :) My entire first half of this (pre-100 lines) was horrible.

I was dancing to the music during the credits (although when the buttons start going crazy, it was to point out something in the credits most people might miss) And rest assured, I had played with the latters and blocks if I wasn't making a "public movie" :P I thought it would disinterest/bore people if I did. (Breaking ladders is remarkably fun, and once I managed to get a mushroom block stuck in mid-air...) --------------------- And here's SMB3 getting beaten (just barely). I'm honestly amazed I didn't Game Over, but that's mostly thanks to the multiple hidden 1-UPs throughout the levels. :P Suggested screenshot for this movie:

Xkeeper plays SMB2 and actually beats the game The various undos were used at the end (I was experimenting with a really, really odd bug I encountered; look for it at the Wart battle, see if you can see it, hehe)

Ack! Couldn't break 150,000. I may have to stop throwing the pieces anywhere in order to defeat you. :D
My high score of all time is over 470000, :) (It's still written in perma-marker and taped to my door, I was that proud of it years ago) I should try again, since my first game at over 180000 isn't too bad :) Yeah, as I figured, I'm just a bit rusty: This run plays both MODE-A and MODE-B. The auto-movement speed in this game is too slow. That's mostly the reason I always died around 190-x, not because I couldn't keep up. I just couldn't get the pieces far enough over.

Yeah, it occurred to me after I posted the suggestion. I think I might take a stab at the final round- nearly lose at first while setting up a massive combo, and then brutally savage the opponent. - Here's an (admittedly shabby) attempt at Tetris. My lust for Tetrises was my undoing.
and here's me beating you :P (tip: don't mash the start button endlessly at the start...)

I liked the old one better, but I think that was because it showed more variety (other than "ice beam throughout the game".) Mabye I'm confusing it with the 100% run, but... meh. I won't vote. I'm voting no. I found most of this run uninteresting and boring, mostly repitive. There were a few interesting points, but the lengths between them were mostly "run to next door, fire, enter door". Most of the run could be summed up that way, minus a few small points ("run out of shinespark energy just before door I need to go in", for example)... the interesting parts were too far apart and not very long. In the mean time, feel free to treat me like a jerk because I voted "No" on a 'popular' submission. Sigh.

I'm used to it saying "(doesn't notify the IRC channel)", so it becomes obvious why we would get annoyed. Next time I'll try and turn down the asshole and turn up the help. :(

11 edits later... If you're going to make a lot of edits in a short span, consider waiting to make one big one or mark them as minor until you make the last one. Please.

"TASmnith" is a bad pun, indeed. But I still say NesVideoMoogle would be better. Mostly because of the quoting in my first post. (NVA-chan is a good name, though)

I just like when people use whever's microstorage. It works, little hassle, and no ads there either.

I recently started a TAS of this game for fun but instead of aiming for the highest possible score, I aimed for the lowest while maintaining maximum speed. At the start of level 3-1 I am 14 frames ahead of the current TAS. Here is the .vbm of the run so far.
This just makes it boring, honestly. Good speed, but not getting anything... :/

Now if we could just get a 100% version that does all worlds, even 9 and A-D. (Voting yes. Personally, I'm amused at his use of "Perfect". He's rather confident, but until someone proves him wrong, he's right)

This movie was nuts.. I kind of liked the synchronized bouncing around, and seeing all characters have a purpose was nice :)
