tasvideos for example...
That's a good idea.
I disagree, mainly because the term 'TAS' is still just a stand in until we can all finally agree on a term for the movies made here. However, since the domain is just as fluid as the current one, I don't see why not.

The pain of being beaten by a female goes away slightly. But I still want my spot back.

You appear to be wrongfully assuming that I would readjust the quality levels, unless you are merely talking about Google Videos (which does this). I would simply download it from the torrent, upload it to the site, and then possibly add it as a mirror here. I have no intention, nor ability, to change the quality/size of any movie on this site.

If it's "all or nothing", perhaps we should just get rid of Google Videos and Archive.org and forget all about any other mirrors. Cause, you know, direct downloads are the death of Bittorrent!

If the only problem you have with th emovie is that one of the pieces goes above the playfield and play continues... well, like the previous post, that's perfectly allowed as long as there is a space exists under the block spawn. I have the cart and a real NES, and I used to do it all the time -- I even got it to, at one point, put blocks through another one (perhaps I should demonstrate this!)... The NES tetris is just silly overall anyway. =P

Personally, I'd rather trade away a second of time for a few more seconds of humor. I mean, what kind of name is EL NINJA? EL NINJA. I mean, I saw that and I just laughed.

It's not very motivating for non-publisher encoders to encode runs when they just sit on the workbench/on their computer. I think Maza (and all the others who encode these movies) should get a publishers rights without judging rights. Or publishers should publish these movies immediatly when they're ready.
I think part of the problem is that publishers = (judge + publish), judging from what Bisqwit has said on a few occasions. It seems like it'd be easy to seperate, but who knows... we'll see. Lately thers seems to be a lot of slowdown in the publishing/judging process, with something like 9 "Accepted" runs sitting in the queue still (as opposed to before, where they were published very rapidly)

I'm guessing it's some silly hitcounter, which would work better as some tiny php-generated image (or similar, such as just a bunch of single-digit IMGs tagged together -- bandwidth vs. processor load) ... That's really a bit large for standard placement on a site, unless you have a lot of unused space.

I used that levelling system because the standard one takes too bloody long to get going.
It's almost ironic how I thought just a few days ago "Damn, I wish there was a level select..." (given how the first 7 minutes or so are entirely pointless, it'd be nice if you could jump straight to level 65-0 or something)

Wouldn't it be a better idea to have posted this in Other Emulation? (and I have never been fortunate (or unfortunate, your choice) enough to have played these games... I don't even know what the "PC Engine" is -- I assumed it was a ... uh, PC, but I guess it's some sort of pure-gaming console.)

I have never seen this game, heard of this game, much less played this game. So I decided why not and went to get the ROM and play this, and... ...wow. This game is amazing, and this TAS is just as amazing. Perfect! Yes vote, and ... well, aside from the obvious pun, this is just one of those games that is incredible.

Probably murdered by the fact you have to have SRAM with all levels beaten to have any fun in it (without playing through normal mode first)

This game is a wonderful example of ear-murdering sound. :( 30-frame animating and random sound effects that only make sense if you have no brain... ugh.

Just think Sonic Spinball but with less control. (Tilting will gradually move the ball in a certian direction, but it takes a lot of effort (read: autofire) to get it to be even noticable)

It's better than the last one, and I already liked that one. This will be an obvious yes. It's a rather unique concept and it certainly is fast. Anyway, I'm still baffled at the ending, they had to be smoking something when designing this piece of work.
The ending is basically, in the most explanative terms: oops you won but not yet as i suck you into this black hole and ouch you hit me and i am a giant magnet and i am cracking and ouch she hit me too and ow i am cracking more and exploding oh no cut to pointless shot of castle that gets cut away for some reason and then fade in image of pinball and princess with a bunch of other pinballs and then oops credits whatever they were smoking, I want some of it.

Nesclone is a temporary name for the clone/mirror fo Nesvideos I'm making, mostly to mirror the AVI files without using torrents (direct-download), and offering some more features not found here. As of yet it only has support for some basic things (and it only shows one page), but I was curious if there's anything you would like added while it's still in the major planning stages. (note that this is not a replacement for the nesvideos site; videos will still have to be published here, first!)

You're totally missing the point. Just because the movie file can be downloaded from the workbench doesn't mean everyone has seen it. I'm sure alot of people who watch these movies only see the movies when they are published. Probably because they don't visit the forums, and they get the AVI/Movie file when it's published. I don't want these same people watching an obsolete run that lags all over when it shouldn't be and having flaws in playing.
Or because some people still have trilobite computers and need to wait for an AVI for technical reasons =P (which is really a shame, I'm sure this movie would be interesting...)

Glad to see this time it gets a little more attention from not being as bad. Thanks for the comments so far, too... heh. The only thing bad about the most powerful flippers in the game is that sometimes they'll just emit a crunch noise and not work, which got in the way of a lot of shots (bad timing). I actually manipulate it to only happen once (in some level, I think 4 -- just woke up, sorry) but it doesn't affect anything.
