The farthest I can make it in SOR3 Hard is at Robot X in Stage 5, with Zan. Tiny mistakes can cause me like, two lives or so the last time I tried Stage 3.

This is the moment I've been waiting for, ever since I uploaded the WIP on YouTube. As for the character exhibition, unlocking Roo by defeating Bruce without killing him takes up time. Ash can't be unlocked in SOR3 by normal means, so that's out of the question. SOR3 isn't bad of a game, it might be localization turning off some people due to the outfit colors changing and the significant increase in difficulty.

Have you tried Hourglass with other Multimedia Fusion games? I haven't yet, but I think I should.

One of the earlier posts stated that he had to take damage anyways.

Ha ha! During one of the Venom fights I thought Jin was already at low HP when he was turning yellow.

Three things I really missed though. No Ryu/Ken/Akuma vs. Ryu/Ken/Akuma. No Rock & Roll vs. Rock & Roll. It really is crazy to see 4 beats or 4 Rush Drills on the screen at once.
I don't see how that would work, what I would imagine is the Beat Plane projectiles canceling out each other, or basically both teams doing the same super at the same time.

I couldn't get WinMUGEN to work, so I think MUGEN 1.0 has better compatibility with Hourglass.

As for the encode, sorry to put you guys through SendSpace, but I didn't realize how obnoxious the download page was. I won't upload there anymore.
I fell victim to my homepage being overwritten and so I decided to use a New Tab Homepage Addon to circumvent it. You can download my mirror here. Note the last time WinEpic was online as of this post.

I've been waiting for this since the day I encoded his WIP. If only the encoder pressed A after the best ending ever to display #K.O.'s. Also:

Good to know that someone else would also like to see TAS's of Dr. Lunatic games! I can't properly cut through the stage clear bonus in SORRv5, will see if latest revision can do that (I have r81 as of this message). Also if I playback a movie, wait until stage clear, then record it, it seems to work as normal until I try to load a savestate on Stage 2. Actually, if I disable Multithreading and Wait Sync, then the game never proceeds the Stage Clear screen. Even if I load a Stage 2 savestate, the game simply will not go to Stage 2. Perhaps the ability to toggle Multithreading and Wait Sync during emulation would make TASing later Stages much easier? Disable DirectSound Creation should do it. Anyways, here's a preview: Link to video

Whenever there's a Dreamcast emulator with stable TAS capabilities, I'm counting on MvC2. The PS2 version might be possible, as I've seen a few TAS's on that system such as this, although from what I've read there are some drawbacks which I'm unable to explain in my own words here.

I think there should have been more variety to the tempo and pitch of the musics in this unlicensed Contra game. But I used to try to TAS this game and was 2 minutes slower.

Link to video Here's my Hourglass test. I wish gsaurus would get back into TASing so he can help finish the movie.

While Streets of Rage Remake (only V5) can run on PSP, it's very slow, the color palette appears inverted, and I can't play any stages. So I guess I'd give it a "Yellow" in terms of compatibility. Such a shame that SEGA put a stop to their work on the conversion. I played through Bare Knuckle III again recently, and I died only 7 times without using up any of my continues. The enemies I died against, as far as I remember, were the 3rd Yamato, one of the Electra's before you fight Robo X, Jet, one of the Lasers and secret agents at Round 7B, and Neo X (messed up the simple tactic where he jumps at you then you neutral jump attack him, rinse and repeat).

Well I'm trying SoRR on Hourglass right now and it seems to be extremely slow during transitions, even with frame advance or the emulator not paused.

I think the score stars are at least a multitude of 40,000 points, as far as I know.

Bare Knuckle III? I find it easier than Streets of Rage 2. In fact, I even have an entire playthrough on YouTube, using only one of my continues. But Streets of Rage 3, on the other hand... Also, I wonder why none of us seemed to simply make an encode of this WIP...

You're welcome, Derakon! The score stars allow you to perform the upgraded blitz attacks on a 3-Button SEGA Genesis Controller. With a 6-Button Controller, you can input the X Button and then a certain sequence to do a special blitz attack. Streets of Rage 3 is just too hard for me to figure that out by heart.

I know the month's April but having tried to TAS this game back in my early YouTube days I just don't find it a good choice.

I mostly wanted to make a code where you can play as Ranzou at the beginning. But if I start the game with the character modifier code on, the game automatically gets a Game Over unless I choose 2 Player Mode (Ranzou just disappears). Actually, it is easily possible to have two Jimmies! As long as Jimmy has his HP greater than 0. What I'm trying to figure out is how to get Ranzou's HP high than 0 so that he's playable without unlocking him first. So here's the character value list with the address 0074 so far: 00 Billy 01 Jimmy 02 Ranzou 03 Chin 20 One of the Title Screen Graphics Link to video

I simply can't get it working. So I wonder what ini file name it's looking for. I tried both video d3d and video ddraw, neither of which solved the problem. The -createconfig command didn't seem to do anything.

If memory serves, aren't all the shards necessary to fight the actual final boss of this game?
