The site that you found is the official Tecmo website. What are you looking for, exactly? If it's anything about Rygar, that company and its community seems to busy with new games to pay homage to their older games.

Most of us already knew about that, especially since it was floating around the IRC for a week. Any reason you posted this?

But a faster way to go through the movie if you do have to is to go to Options --> Settings --> Skip Rendering 59, Tab Toggles Turbo. Then you just have to hit tab and wait for it to catch up. Just be ready once it does. I speak from experience when I say it's annoying to forget to hit tab again.
It still takes a long time to get to wherever you're trying to catch up to if your movie is over 25 minutes. I speak from experience. It would be great if snes9x devs could create a 'skip to frame # in movie' option, because then you could do a lot of precise actions along with avoiding the hassle that is rewatching.

Also, a question: Could the FCEU movies from this site be submitted to your site? Say, if you were to offer a bounty for a Legend of Zelda timeattack and Phil submits his...could he earn the bounty if nobody beats him?
I don't understand what's the meaning of this.
I think he is confusing someone's site with TwinGalaxies, which offers bounties for console speedruns of certain movies. If I am correct, then no, Phil could not submit his movie and collect the bounty because he made a movie using an emulator with rerecord capabilities.

If you're unlucky enough to have alll your savestates after a point that you want to edit, I'm afraid you have to watch through the whole movie. I weep with you. However, if you simply add in a savestate when you need to stop recording, then the next time that you hit 'Movie Play', you can load your state and resume recording immediately.

Attempt #1 at a decent arena: http://www.geocities.com/aazurreco/KirbyHammerArena.ZIP I wasn't very happy with sticking to the hammer. Also, I didn't like not having a helper at certain points (Dynablade anyone?). Well, have fun with it. If you care, I don't get hit either.

Yes, it has been measured and any point I take damage is faster.
I can second that. Any time where damage is taken, the character chooses to fall instead of jump, or pauses for a moment, it is due to random circumstances that would slow the movie. Great movie. You handled the Death Heim better than I had expected.

a 100% run would take between 75 and 100 minutes. Go for it if you want.

Megaton and Samurai Kirby can both be done perfectly with 0 rerecords. All you would have to do is set the game to 2 frames/second and then pay attention. No skill needed there.

When in doubt, VLC media player will usually have the codec you're looking for.

Umm, don't play at anything other than the highest difficulty level. Otherwise it will probably be rejected.

There is no way to control that. Chances are it is your keyboard input. The easiest way to remedy this is to press the button on frame A and see how far past frame B the action takes place. Then go back and fix the frame where you add input so that the action takes place on frame B. I wish I had a real answer as to why certain times in between frames don't allow input. It really pissed me off when I made Nosferatu.

I assume you're trying to get at something else here. Slowdown alters the framerate. You will have to elaborate a bit. How did you use slowdown before? I'm assuming you just used the shift+/shift- functions?

With the first 6 game modes completed, it's only fair that the best mode gets its own competition. Using this savestate and SRAM with the (U)[!] version, youre granted instant access to the arena mode. Feel free to make a movie of your fastest/most entertaining run through all 19 fights, using helper or not (if you wish). This is also open to 2player runs. Please don't submit these movies, though; this is purely a fun competition on the side. I'll have my demo movie out soon enough.

Great movie. It's still far from perfect, but it's getting there. Question: Why does it seem at some points like you hesitated before sliding? Maybe that's just me...

Hello everyone. In case you hadn't heard, OgreSlayeR has been working on an ActRaiser movie for the past however long it's been. So far, his movie is going smoothly (and you can see it here if you so wish) up until Aitos. Upon entering the sim for that area, it takes the citizens a LONG time to actually start building and expanding towards the spawns. That's where you come in. Does anyone know of a good way to get around this problem? Any help with this (or feedback on the movie) would be great. For reference: You need to gain population levels in certain zones so that you can expand to the next areas. That is why there is time spent leveling the town in the desert. edit: just in case you dont figure it out, the movie uses ActRaiser (U) [!].smc

Thats a point where Phil uses the restart command. Maybe you're using a version that has trouble with the start button?

I have 18 platinums. They're all pretty simple scores, except for my redonkulous (sic) platinum on the moon.

a) its crash, not bomb b) its slower. i tested using crash vs using cutter. the time it takes to make a sir kibble helper, inhale the bomb, use the bomb, kill the helper, and return to cutter form, is 350 frames SLOWER than my method. trust me on this. Oasiz brought it up after version 1 and i tried it c) i know that crash/paint can kill instantly. however, there is never a good time to grab these powers and use them.
