That's cool. It's not like Guano has even chimed in on this. Watch this! "What? I'm not interested in watching Guano's hard work on a site that doesn't focus on speed, simply because someone alluded to an opinion that slightly differs, but has little to no consequence on anything!"

Some < 20, assuming 60fps, which it isn't.

There's just no difference between watching boring stuff forwards or backwards.
I challenge you to a drive-off across the country (USA). We will both be driving in reverse, though, and you can only look at your side/rearview mirrors.

Guano isn't allowed to have an opinion: he is the whipping boy of our forums, aiming to accomplish our every whim.

None of you have obviously even tried the forwards backwalking.
I've 'forward backwalked', but I didn't apply it to rooms that don't even seem like they would need it. When you say it's slower, do you mean by the rate of speed, or just in the case of bumping in to walls?

1) No, she doesn't partake. 2) Yes, she knows that I do. 3) Yes, she knows what they are. She prefers speedruns.

What you need to realize is that this will be a long speedrun and those "mere frames" will quickly add up to probably over a second.
It's not like it would be used everywhere (if it was used). It would be restricted to, say, crossing Hyrule Field, or something of similar distance.

Giving a Yes vote, although I felt that the run became a bit too repetetive after a while. USA #1

Remember how people threw a fit about the last version not using all of the known tricks, thereby leading to a less than perfect attempt? Yeah, it might happen again.

Some TASers are planning to leave facebook after recent changes in allowance and interface. I don't understand the desire for a TAS group on facebook. No one will really care about one tiny link in a profile: barely anyone actually reads profiles either way.

Ice cold (we use my trash can + ice to cool them), fresh (delivered and opened in the same day), and thick (US standard, though). So yeah, it beats teh crap out of Bud from the fridge :/ I'll reiterate, though, that liquor is my life blood. Just as Omni said, following a recipe is trash: pour out how much vodka/kahlua/schnapps/whiskey/rum/tequila that you plan to imbibe, and then slowly toss in random crap until it tastes good. If you're not drinking something with alcohol in it, just toss crap in until it isn't bad anymore. Crown Royal + Code Red = a quick way to mask a lot of alcohol.

Warm beer is terrible. Watered down beer is terrible. In the US, kegs are the weapon of choice, but rarely anyone outside of college buys them.

Or, you know, you can save the effort and just use the spreadsheet. It requires 3 inputs and one constant alteration for an output.

To be fair, beer at German fests tastes pretty good, especially when people buy it for you! @Tub: Maybe I'm backwards about more than just my drinks. ;)

I think beer tastes like crap until you're too buzzed to notice anymore. Everyone around me loves beer, so when we play drinking games, I lose, even if I win. Then again, I drink hard liquor as if it were water, so maybe I'm backwards.

Why on earth would we want to host boring movies? What is this, YouTube?

The switch wasn't useless, it helped with the infinite sword glitch. Although now you could do the web skip if you can figure out what's going on from the movie that was posted awhile back. And restarting from the owl would be cool anyway, since I, too, desynch there.
Well, if he did go back and redo the web skip, he could pretty much paste on everything he did from entering Ghoma's chamber to when he reaches the owl. It's not so bad. Most of it would be waiting for text to pass. I wonder, Guano, are you fast forwarding through unskippable cutscenes when you're recording?

it can save like 15 seconds of text skipping. And by the way, nobody has helped me with posting a .m64 that can get past the 1st owl, so I just might have to start from there.

I'm a huge fan of the Red Arremer. I'm also a subconscious fan of a lot of other characters, like Zero, BioSpark, Soma, etc. But yeah, mostly this duder:

What was with your menu control? Do you not speak Japanese/have to use visual representations of items? It was a good run, albeit confusing for me. I definitely loved seeing you hop in to seal bosses. Nails ftw. Dag, I need a DS so I can play this :/
