144. Sweet? I don't get how reciting quotes can derive IQ. Otherwise, people unfamiliar with English prose are less intelligent by default.

Not to be blunt, duder, but you need a better grasp of sarcasm. Seriously, I don't know if I should just change my name to 'Don't listen to me unless I'm in Off Topic or people request my advice.' Also, MM isn't so complex that people with experience can't give feedback. However, like I mentioned, I'm probably only going to give stylistic feedback, since I'm not a huge fan of the game.

Savin' dis, though I've only played the first 10 minutes of the game. Isn't there some glitch where you can beat the game in like 15 minutes?

I haven't seen your WIP yet, but if you didn't get Great Armor's soul, that would speed anything up. If you're using Ronginus with Lubicant, Great Armor, and mixing in Red Minotaur shots, I'm pretty sure you can't do anything else to save time. Just dance on his fists when you fight him, and you'll be fine.

Phil pre-accepted his own run of Combat Tribes, having a turn around time of about 2 minutes. Though, many people would later complain about the bias, not to mention the publication of a movie that many would have voted Meh/No on.

I can't link to the page directly, since it has been moved, but I have a transcript of some stuff. "no court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider an application for a writ of habeas corpus filed by or on behalf of an alien detained by the United States who has been determined by the United States to have been properly detained as an enemy combatant or is awaiting such determination." Eugene R. Fidell, president of the National Institute of Military Justice, added that: "What it means is that certain categories of people are going to be second-raters in our legal system. You can't sneeze at the fact that citizenship has got to mean something," Fidell said. "But if I were a green-card holder, thinking about the other pressures that are being brought to bear on green-card holders, it could make me pretty nervous."

Battle is a relative term, but it doesn't really matter.

Either Mantle is fine. I would prefer the one in the Minotaur room, because you won't have to bother thinking about that stupid Werejaguar getting in the way at all. Also, it would be cooler to have one room full of fighting, rather than two rooms with two small and separate battles.

The bill doesn't target legal nationalized citizens. Therefore, not everyone is 'targeted' by this bill, only foreign migrants that aren't nationalized or haven't achieved citizenship. As I said before, this isn't the best thing ever, but peopel are definitely blowing it WAY out of proportion.

It is faster to kill the Mantle. You should aim to kill two Red Minotaurs: one in the Arena, and one either on the way to or on the way from getting Hippogriff, depending on when you get it. Also, the added exp of the Iron Golem wouldn't hurt.

Yes. However, I don't think you'd see many math majors get excited if suddenly every job in that particular area became unavaliable. Sure nothing is permanent and they can go back to school and major in something else, but yeah.
They can work in construction, lazy bastards.

There are worse things starting in the UK. Not to say that this is the best thing ever in the US, but it's not like America is the only place with this kind of stuff going on.

adelikat makes a point. This isn't the first time that things like this (restriction of habeas corpus outside of martial law) has occurred in the US. However, it only seems to be a bad thing when American Conservatives do it. Also, L4yer fails to note that there is a lot of protest going on about this bill, both before and after it's vote.

Please don't turn this in to a "this is why the US/Bush/republicans/etc sucks" or "hey, now you can come to my country" thread. Also, I'm fairly sure that this bill is only supposed to affect non-legal citizens or legal migrants. Not that that changes much, but it isn't like the bill says 'all in the US are to be victimized by whim'. Arg, this is why I don't like political discourse on forums...

Most speedrunners are male.
So what? Gender has nothing to do with it.

This is the stupidest ideal ever. No, not because I don't think females should be interested in speedrunning: it's stupid to think that gender actually means anything when it comes to running. The correct version of this should be "I think it's awesome that anyone wants to do TASes", leaving the gender part out.
