all were needed to make the rabbit appear? couldn't he have ignored one of them and grab the rabbit star instead?
Logic permits that if he had ignored one of the ealier stars, Mipps wouldn't appear. Therefore, there would be no star to grab in stead of the earlier stars. Therefore, there would be no Mipps.

What a confusing game. Well played, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't look intimidating.

Let me try to find it for you. Circulates on other forums rather frequently. And don't get your hopes up about this: it's a pretty dull movie of some random girl doing laundry and standing around.

Couldn't you just register a new account like BlackMagic/Hyakutaro did?

I've seen the video thingy for this. She's just singing along to whatever song she is listening to --> it's probably nothing of concern.

I'm fairly sure the very minimal damage you wil do to any part of Lavos at that point will make an attempt very pointless. You don't even have any skills at that point, I don't think, which would make it so that even if you could manipulate the fight to never take damage and to do maximum damage to Lavos, it would still probably take hours over an any% attempt.

The story is as follows: Eric Bauman steals stuff from a lot of sites and makes money off of it. Namely somethingawful.com. When someone pointed it out that ebaum had forgotten to remove a watermark from SA in one of his 'updates', Lowtax emailed him asking to stop leeching images, or at least give credit to them. Ebaum refused to comment, people went to the forums, he went ban-happy, and now this. Altf4 is a big man on the SA forums now. Oh, and the flash is cool, although the song is a bit contrived.

Seconding Fei Long, especially with his combo linking attacks.

What, no Blast Corps topic yet? This was one of the best games for the early N64... Anyways, the sheer amount of awesome that could come from emulating this knows no bounds. Even before you start getting timed in the game, you can still turn out a lot of cool footage before platinums show up. It would essentially be the same idea, what with the fastest path being a platinum path + getting in the truck at the end, but it would be interesting to see how well people can manipulate each vehicle into the perfect killing/destruction machine. Also, sweeping up the doctors and doing a few stunts in transit wouldn't hurt. Anyways, just throwing this out there. I probably won't be making any story runs for this; maybe just a few platinum attempts every once in a while at most. We could definitely have a 'start to all planets' movie, but the beauty lies in the platinums. So... yeah. 3 2 1 BRAINSTORM

As stated earlier, Fox is the best choice of the initial 8. He has the fastest running/jumping/throwing speed, has some of the most versatile smash attacks, and his Reflector Shield is the best force-push from stand still. Also, Fox has the easiest ground and air juggles of anyone, although Yoshi's down+a in the air is a good contender.

Since when was Super Smash Brothers considered Mario's game? Anyways, the best of the beggining characters would be Fox.

Yes vote. I never beat this game as a kid, but it always stuck with me. Glad to see someone make a run for this. It was very well planned and played. Kudos to you, kooz.

CCG allows you to walk through certain things, be they doors or invisible barriers. It probably does a lot more than that, but the main idea is to get the Master Sword without killing a single thing. Just walk walk walk your way to the Temple and BAM, you're adult Link. Or something.

CCG probably isn't possible on emulator. It is a physical change, so you would have to manually alter a lot of game data to get it to work, which isn't submittable on this site. I have no idea why everyone thinks that it would work.

I prefer speed, because speed begets entertainment, usually. There are a few exceptions, though, when speed cuts out the defining moments in a game.

That's why it is best to get Golden Armor + Dagger ASAP, and then not open a single chest until you get to Belth (level 7-2 boss). That's the ideal plan, considering the dagger does half damage of bracelet, but shoots 2-3 times faster. Also, bracelet has no magical power.

Yeah, but he plays through it twice. We have agreed that we won't be doing that on this site.

Aria of Sorrow comes before Demon's Crest. Sorry. Someone else can do the any% if they wish to. The path is just first level -> wind crest -> phalanx. I would rather do the 100%, as I have it all planned already.

Great movie. My only qualm is with the Gary/Rival fight. Why the animations? Do animations turn on automatically for this? If yes, consider this a yes vote. If no, well... it's still a yes vote.

I lent my N64 and 64 game collection. Goodbye GameShark and Goldeneye! Thankfully, Goldeneye was replaceable. No go on the gameshark, though :(

We'll see. I'm a bit miffed that people want an any% before a 100%, but whatev. I'll get on it when I do.
