I voted yes, but that was before seeing truncated's post... Since there is no major difference between this run and the previous (i.e. no major route changes) and since there is another [small] improvement to be made, I think this needs to be remade with the improvement added (is hex editing it in possible?). Still can't believe this run isn't frame perfect - sure looks it.

"Along with The Olive Tree and The Fig Tree, grape vines were often used as symbols of the fertility of the Promised Land of Israel." -Reference A quick search reveals quite a few mentions of grapes in the Bible. Though they're not generally referred to as weapons... Anyway, this was mildly amusing. Aside from repetitive BG music. Some day I'll have to try it out myself.
I did know that :p - just could've picked something more interesting...

I also agree that it should be an option - make the default two columns and that's fine, but with phpbb it should be easy enough to add it to the control panel as an option. I find it more cluttered even at a window size of 1356x1175.

Overworld got a little boring towards the end, but besides that it was an excellent and entertaining run. Grapes... that the best they could come up with?

I was under the impression that we were hosting movies that were entertaining, not just fast. If completing a game fast was all it took, why don't we publish Front Line and/or other boring games/runs, just because they're fast?
I find this run entertaining because it is so fast. I could watch it 10 times over and not get bored with it, to boot - something I can't say for most of the videos that are published - they lose their entertainment value the second, third time through. Maybe it's just entertaining for me for what it DOESN'T do and for leaving you speechless about how they could make a game beatable like that... EDIT: Imagine how amazed/entertained/confused you would be if you were playing this game on the console and managed to do this exactly? High wtf-factor there.

Voted meh. Really meh-no. Looks pretty well done, and the game looks fun, but it just doesn't work for a TAS. Good run though.

If this movie would aim for being the "shortest TAS ever", then any movie that's faster could obsolete it.
That seems like the answer to me. Instead of putting it in with the normal movies, we put this on the concept demos page with the title: 'Shortest TAS'. The description should list the current game that holds the record and all games can compete for this. I don't see any reason not to put this on the site - sure it isn't entertaining of it's own merit, but the fact that an actual video game has been defeated in 10s is jawdropping. Just my 2 cents.

Konami loves putting 573 in games. Never seen this one, but I enjoyed the run. Some of the beginning parts didn't look frame perfect - don't know why, but didn't seem perfect. Still a definite yes vote from me. Quick paced and I'm not sure it could be improved.

Voted yes on the condition that it replaces RR1 - There shouldn't be two of these games published.
What a strange request. I disagree. They aren't the same game, and shouldn't be judged as such.
Not a strange request - go read through TheSwordUser's cancelled submission of this game for the discussion about this.

Voted yes on the condition that it replaces RR1 - There shouldn't be two of these games published. It actually is interesting to watch when sped up a lot and is a little better than the first run. Still not particularly entertaining, but good enough to boot out RR1 IMO.

Quick suggestion, Gold Skulltulas do 1 heart of damage. Can you jump into the Gold Skulltula at the top of the stairs and then warp out?
But then he would have to die twice, and the second time, he would have to deminish 3 hearts. whouch would probably take longer in the desert than it did to run to the entrance like he does...
I think he means hit the gold skulltula before climbing, dropping him from 1.5 hearts to .5 hearts. Then at the top, warp out and he'll only have to lose .5 hearts outside instead of 1. Sounds feasibly faster to me, although it would have to be tested

Even though this is one of the most repetitive games ever, it's fast paced and this is definitely a good improvement. Yes.

mplayer may have a problem with videos that have frames dropped IIRC. Plus xvid just isn't a good codec :p

As someone who has already voted (but isn't very familiar with the games), I'd say yes to replacing the other rad racing game with this one. This one is slightly more entertaining IMO after quickly reviewing them both.

DareDevil Hulk Scorpion King AngerFist mentions Bill & Ted, haven't seen that one, but judging from his reaction it isn't too good.
Bill and Ted's is okay. Not something I'd put in my top ten, but it's not as bad as Daredevil, Hulk, or just about any movie with The Rock. EDIT: Now I would add Matrix Reloaded to the list of not so great movies Dark Fulgore put up as well, but that's mainly because I was so disappointed by it in comparison to the first.

One of my least favorite in the sonic series, but this TAS makes it enjoyable. Very good run. Yes vote from me.

How do you get the jiggy on top of the mountain after hitting the witch switch (I'm talking about when you enter the level) without being a termite? Can you just get there normally using frame advance?
Yeah - somebody posted a couple pages back with a method for getting to the top by jumping/rolling/etc in the right places.
