Looks good, even though battle animations are off. I hope you find the (U) ROM eventually, because it would suck if this run was squashed because of a technicality.

The run desynchs for me at the very beginning. I'm using the (U) [!] ROM.

And people wonder why no one wants to do segments on video games...

If people can watch the Chrono Trigger run, they can certainly watch this.

Of course. Some people think watching chess is fun, and good for them. All in different tastes I guess.

Fastest time isn't the only thing that matters.

Why do you have the battle scenes on...? Because it'd be so damn boring if they weren't. It would be like watching chess.

Oh, I see. Well, that may pose a problem when it comes to submit, since that's a hacked ROM if I'm not mistaken. Also, I could've sworn that you could skip the screens telling you what day it is... Other than that, looks good.

Desyncs on day 2. I know I've got the (U) version of the ROM, but I don't know anything about the (Mode 7) at the end of the run name.

Of course, versus Flak, you can take advantage of his slight unluckiness which results in less damage sometimes.

Not to mention the walthroughs don't take into consideration perfect luck (I'm not sure how much luck manipulation is in this game, but I'm sure there's at least a fair amount). I'd also like to see a run of this. It'd be interesting to say the least.

Bad news... ... ... ... ... Just kidding! In fact, I've got a surprise for you guys. I'm up to the Yamatos! If you like clever AI manipulation, you'll like the updated portion, because there's a lot of it. As predicted, Blaze's sword completely raped the ninjas and put me two full minutes ahead of my 1P run. Forgot to make a savestate right at the beginning of my progress, so I guess the beginning of Stage 4 will have to do.

Well, I feel obligated to post something to let you guys know I didn't keel over or anything. Unfortunately, summer school was busier than expected. Damn 5-week classes that teach a whole semester's worth of material... I haven't even touched the run for a long time now. But to make up for it, I'm going to guarantee that I'll have Stage 4 Scene 1 done when I get back online on August 20th. And after that (at least up to the Yamatos), there's going to be some real progress. For the Yamatos, I'm going to take my time to make sure that it's every bit as entertaining as I've hyped it up to be. After all, you guys deserve it after waiting over a year (May of '05...wow, time really flies...) on my slow ass since I started the 2P run. And to think, I was supposed to have this finished last summer.

All I get is a black screen when I play it.

And people who would like to see those TASes would have to have the game or download 4-8.5Gb images. I'd imagine AVIs would become popular under those circumstances.

I vote for 3 only if there are two different torrent files so I don't have to download a movie I don't want.

Funny, I remember it being someone who used his alt accounts to vote yes on his own runs.
