Regardless of that, this is the only rerecording emulator that allows recording of input of devices other than a normal controller. In fact, it asks you what you want on controller port 1, controller port 2, and the expansion port, when recording. Go to http://www.caitsith2.net/nesmovies/ for such examples. Duck hunt, using the zapper. (don't move the mouse around, while watching it play back, otherwise it WILL desync. zapper playback ties up the mouse. If you wish to move the mouse around, hit F3 to pause the emulator first. World class track meet, using the power pad. I did both of those, using frame stepping, and I only did one round of each.

Finished the Altar Cave route 1 - getting two Southwinds for an easy boss battle (but a longer route to the boss with one extra encounter). Now gonna try route 2 - not getting the second Southwind, thus giving me a more difficult battle, but a quick route towards him. I have a feeling this route is fastest, because when I used my second Southwind in the first route, it did 90 damage. One of those gigantic lucky hits could easily take him down, though it will definitely take 2 rounds to do it. EDIT: http://tetravalor.avalanchestudios.net/other/ff3_superplay/ff3-omega-wip_01.avi
Would it be possible to put both the AVI, and the source fcm file used to create that avi up? Those that know which translation to use, and have that translation could download the source file, and save bandwidth both ways, since the source fcm used is much smaller. The avi are for the benefit of those who either don't have the appropiate rom file, or don't know which one to use.

Yes you can! There's this really cool program I found recently while looking for tools to run Tomb Raider on Win2k. After a while I thought "HEY! Theres this RPG movies from Saturn I ALWAYS wanted to see SO much" I always cried cause I couldnt get these old versions of Zsnes to run. Then I tried to run it with VDMSound and I was the happiest guy on the world. I spent the following 10 hours watching the Terranigma run in one sitting. Awesome movie Saturn! http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=VDMSound&btnG=Google-Suche&meta= Get this thing from somewhere, install it and then right-click the Zsnes.exe and choose "Run with VDMSound" Hey Saturn, maybe you could write about this program somewhere on your homepage, I'm sure theres much people that dont know about it and cant get older Zsnes versions to run on XP or 2k
Tried VDMSound, no such luck for me.

Got my Yes vote as well. Lots of unexpected things, including the stomping of the back door fortress like a hot knife through butter.

Unfortunately, Saturn is right. Given the same set of conditions, (Spend at most $5000, same map, same tax level, same city layout.) to build your city, easy grows the fastest and hard grows the slowest. As such, it might not be possible to build a megalopis on hard, by then end of 1904.

I can think of 2 more improvements. 1. Start on hard. (drain your money a bit faster. 2. Build just your railroad network. Any roads/rails still cost money to maintain, and thus, you can still execute the $999,999 glitch. Plus, if you build it right, you shouldn't have to destroy anything, after execcuting the glitch.

Yes, you can. I've done it recently with an unmodded controller, but you have to have popeye arms.
Or you can take the controller apart, to push up/down that way. Alternatively, modify the controller in some way, like adding a button to push up/down at the same time. Left/Right, Up/Down is also used by some programmers as entry to debugging/diagnostic code as well, since most normal users will not be able to push opposite directions at the same time.

For those of you thinking of voting 'Yes' on this movie, I suggest you first watch my WIP Sonic 2 run (first 5 zones, half of the game), taking into consideration that all of those levels can be completed significantly faster than I did them.
This was definitely more impressive than the submitted movie.

As I recall, the time taken to beat the levels, including the guide the red truck levels, are saved, right from the very first time you do it. However, what I found to be the best, is clear the path, exit the level once that was done, then go back into the level to do all of its side objectives, (destroy all buildings, collect all rdu's, if applicable, find the scientist, also if applicable, find all the level unlock satellites.) Because the times it you to clear the level does stick, if you manage to get a platinum time, you will still get gold, until the time you start earning platinums, however, at that point, any levels with platinum times automatically get awarded a platinum metal, meaning you don't have to go and beat the level again. Finally, what I remember, is clear the easy levels, by clearing the path. Beat the medium levels, beat the hard levels. FInd all the scientists, clear path for space shuttle, play through the moon and clear it at least once. Get gold on every level you have, including levels you may have yet to find the unlock satellites for. The remaining planets get unlocked, get gold on all of them. Once that was done, get platinum on everything. As far as things go, I never did get platinums on everything.

Strange, I was thinking of redoing that one, learning that the menus were much faster. Anyways, that saves me from having to do it.

Disable the sound emulation completely, and it will playback.

You forgot the UFO's scenario.
Never beat that one. Also never did have success building a city with a population of 500,000.

What colour is a 6 life balloon? I know that there's red for 1up and 10pts and green for 2up and 50pts and blue for 3up (although I haven't seen any blue balloons in this Comp Cart yet).
That 6 Life balloon, actually is 2 3 Life balloons put into the same spot.

That glitch you use for money making, can also be used to beet the nuclear meltdown scenario, and have it beaten without a nuclear melt down ever happening. In case it hasn't been figured out yet, holding down L & R stops the internal timer for the game, which is used more or less for pretty much everything, including timed disaster events. The other thing that is true about a nuclear meltdown in the game, is if the plant that is destined to blow up is bulldozed before it blows up, then the next plant in the internal list gets blown up instead, if there is another one in the city. If all of the nuclear plants get bulldozed though, then when the disaster timer expires, and it doesn't find a nuclear plant to blow up, no nuclear explosions will happen. As for the flooding scenario, replace all of the shorelines with parks, and flooding should never happen. With the torando, bowser, and earthquake scenarios, you cannot stop those events from ever happening, they will happen, and the obvious solution for the crime scenario, is police departments.

Definitely counter/mime in the materia slots. Cloud takes first attack to use some protection items on barret, so that when weapon does attack, barret takes minimal damage. Barret uses his limit break to initially damage emerald weapon severely. Emerald weapon counter attacks barret. All 8 of barrets counter materia are triggered, and counters with each of the mimes. 6 of them in total are used up, and emerald weapon is PWNED.

This could be a bit of Luck abuse, following the one and only one rule. "The game is only as random as you are." Just entering in the right control pad sequence at the right place, might favor what piece you get next.
