Although I don't have any familiarities with Final Fantasy IX and haven't been following your progress much, that fight was pretty awesome.

I do recall one of the Wheel of Fortune NES games having a soundbyte that was of a woman saying "Congratulations!" in an unexpectedly high sound quality for the console. Anyway, the movie? It's of a little kids' game. Meh vote.

The progress you're making is going quite well. I can't wait to see this get finished, because I'm certain my sister--who's played this game more than I have, and I haven't even played this at all--would love the end result! And speaking of my sister, she froze the game one time by hitting one of those snail enemies--I don't know what they're called--by throwing a yarn ball at it at the same time it hurt her.

Even though I don't know this game at all, you've made some really good progress on it. Keep up the good work!

Liu Kang takes a hit to avoid the "flawless victory" text, then repeatedly bicycle kicks every opponent until he wins the game. Now you don't have to watch the temporary encode. Meh vote, even though it's ~00:03.43 seconds faster than last time. I'm sorry if I offended you in any way, xxNKxx.

I've been waiting for an improvement to the all souls run of Aria of Sorrow for a long time. Because of this run, I guess all that time was worth it. Yes vote.

Despite being a little repetitive, it's still a good watch if not for the part where you come incredibly close to losing (around 1:45 in). And yes, it does sound like there's a Geiger counter being used the entire way through. Yes vote.

I have never seen anything that's more insane than this in my entire life. Good work on the run. If this ever got accepted, it probably would've put the Yoshi's Island 100% run to shame.

I pulled that off one time while I was experimenting with the doghouse glitch. At one point during that time, I also managed to make the game reset and run in GB mode.

Link to video I really love this song. It's pretty much my favorite song out of any Animal Crossing game this side of Go K.K. Rider!.

You actually surprised me there with an improvement that large. The ending had me scream "WHAT?!" as well.

Terra pretends to be Princess Luna in that one MLP:FiM fic where the aforementioned princess attempts to kill herself in many ways, but fails. Unlike Luna here, Terra ascends to godhood and wins the game after dying 52 times. Meh vote.

-I dont understand , where it s better open menu and move cursor?
What MrWint did in his TASes of Red/Blue was, upon entering Pewter City (that is, when the music changes from the Routes 1 and 2 music to the general city theme), opened the menu, moved the cursor to Save, and exited it. Before the guy blocking the way to Mt. Moon took him to the Gym, he saved and reset to bypass having to fight Brock.

So it seems you've based this run off of Shenanagans and Keizaron's blindfolded race during SGDQ '15. I'll watch this later today, and then I'll vote. EDIT: Now that I've watched it, I've noticed several mistakes right off the bat. - IIRC, it's weirdly a few frames faster to go to the options after the game starts. That is, after you name yourself and your rival. - Also IIRC, before you start moving in some areas, try bumping into a wall one frame before you start moving. It's somehow faster by a teeny bit. - When naming the Charmander, I noticed that you were in a bit of a rush while naming it A. I saw you delete it and then re-enter it before finishing up with its name. Is this for RNG manipulation? - Why didn't you manipulate more criticals against the last Trainer's Weedle in Viridian Forest? - You should've immediately opened your menu and moved the cursor to Save before doing Brock Through Walls; it's faster to do that there instead of when you're a step away from triggering the event where the guy drags you to the city's Gym. - You performed a reset a little too late for TAS standards. From what I remember, MrWint immediately reset after the "Now saving..." box disappeared. - You don't really have to weaken a Pokémon before trying to catch it, so why did you weaken MISSINGNO. before catching it? - Isn't it possible to press B when shown a yes/no prompt to immediately say no? Aside from those mistakes, this is a pretty good improvement when it comes to time. Weak yes vote.

Full disclosure - Mega Man (Rockman) was played back in an emulator and was *not* console verified because of the tight timing required for the DelayStageClear glitch among other things. I intentionally played back the movie with the button presses displayed to show that it was being done in an emulator. There are Mega Man movies that have been verified such as the game end glitch run but there was no way I had time to set that up in the block of time we had. The only console verification was Sonic Advance which we really should mark as console verified, but I digress. As noted, Ikaruga can't be console verified without console modifications to read off of consistent-speed media (and even then it's questionable if we could get everything to line up with the emulator, so don't expect this to ever happen.)
*facepalm.jpg* I'll go edit the post again for clarity.

Out of the few videos I watched of this, I liked... - The Pokémon Blue "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" speedrun by Shenanagans, making me think that there should be an improvement to the TAS sometime in the future. Him racing it blindfolded against Keizaron was the icing on the cake when it comes to funny things. - Speaking of unnatural luck and precision, adefgames' FDS Legend of Zelda glitched run. I swore that was impossible to pull off in real time! - The Mega Man 1 TAS being successfully console verified played back to a live audience. I thought it was console verified, but doing THAT would take quite a bit of time trying to get the darn thing to sync. Whoops! - altabiscuit destroying Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. - The EarthBound run. - The never-ending bid war over the animals' fate in Super Metroid. - A handful of other bid wars between who should be named what in the Chrono Trigger 100% run (for example), which I may watch soon.

I haven't figured out RNG manipulation all that well; from watching the TAS Omnigamer linked to earlier, it seems battle RNG is manipulated through heavy abuse of the L and R buttons. I tried that with a fan-translated ROM by Aeon Genesis, but that didn't get me any different results.

I'm not alone in this, jlun2. Apparently, when I visited the front page, I also saw that it went back to the revision made on 12-31-2014.
