Not sure why it is happening unless you could provide a video, but maybe try a different ROM, if that doesnt work, then try using a different Graphics Plugin, such as Jabo 1.6, which works on both my computers.

you might think me weird, but I just got used to this from playing n64 games real time in pj64, so in mupen i have: A=A B=B Z=Z L=L R=R START=S Anaoge stick=Arrow keys C buttons ^home v end >page down < delete Macro for A and B = H / is frame advance . is pause and savestates are F1 to F9, with shift plus that key loading it. I can play good in real time like this, im just used to it

If someone with toads tool (i cant get the rom extender to work) could try deleting the water in the moat (is that possible?) and see if opening the door to the basement works. If so, getting a fast enough blj outside the castle would possibly open the door. If someone can point me in the right direction as to where to get and extended rom, i would be greatfule and try it myself. On the topic of the key doors, have you tried it, getting the second key, opening the door to the upstars, then going to the basement key door and see if it opens then duksandfish

The direct stream copy thing didnt do anything, but, i tried it, restarted, tried it again, still didnt work, but when i changed the video plugn, it magically did. Btw I am using gnl64v.0.4.1, so i think it was the plugin (jabo 1.6) that was the problem...... lets see if it continues to work

reason i was asking is because you might beable to get enough speed to get to the underwater door without the game realising you are underwwater meaning you would open it, and skip first bowser

Well, I can put it this way if you would like; This topic will be redundant when SP1 is out, and all new issues of vista have the hotfix bundled in. Feel free to unsticky it, if someone has a problem they'll have to use the search function :)
LIES lol. I have Sp1 and I only got my laptop a week ago and i had to do that right click, properties, disable desktop compostition thing.......

Yes thanks very much, i remember those melons you jump on on the first level now, but a wikipedia search seays it was for ps1/saturn, though i'm sure i played it at my cousins who only had a n64 at the time

Well i've only played this once , so i can only remember on level, I think it was for N64 of PS1, or maybe both, it was a 3d platformer (i think) maybe a bit like banjo kazooie, and one of the characters was a girl wearing a jester suit (weird huh?)

I know its probably a bit late now that the run is 40 mins, but could someone make an avi, even very low quality, because the furthest ive gotten it to sync is up to the owl, but you end up talking to it. That was woth rice, after messing around with some settings. Both jabbos desynch after sowd, and gln64 and glide, and direct64 all dont work on my pc

I pray that is sarcasm. That thing once auto-deleted my data structures homework, insisting it was a virus. Didn't even ask for confirmation. That'll teach me to ever run a new laptop with full bloatware ever again.
Nope, no Jokes, Mcafee is graet, i have used norton, avg and Mcafee, and i find it very good. It updates every other day, and automatically scans once a week. The ONLY bad thing is the firewall, which really sucks, but windows firewall is good enough.

mr_roberts_z: I just watched your current WIP once again. You completed JRB in one go and seemed to wanted to do BoB afterwards.
Only if you watched the YouTube version, which cut off somewhat ambiguously; the "full" 12 star WIP version (which I wasn't able to encode, for some reason) includes TotWC, right before going into BoB. In any case, with another huge improvement found, it comes time to go back and redo old stuff before doing anything else, again.
why does "huge" link back to SL's run? is the improvement on that?
Yep because SL used the other stairs for the blj and a slightly better strat outside i think.

All you would need is a usb device that connects to the controlley port of a console and playes the emulator movie files, converting them into ations on the real console.
