I played this when it came out. Cute, fun game. You obliterated the times. By the way, why race as Goblin? If memory serves, his cart has great handling. I guess that might be essential for getting around the corners at high speeds. Edit: Now you're using Black Mage too. I guess his special ability is worth having for enhancing the effect of the magic stones. Edit again: Then again, you are using Chocobo's Dash ability. Does Black Mage have a high top speed or something?

Are you sure you're the right person to be doing this TAS? Something tells me this TAS is half-heartedly executed.

I was the one who voted 'meh', and I did it without watching the run just because I think Kirqk is a sorry piece of ****. Now I regret not voting an outright 'no'.

I found this run hilarious. Key moments were second battle on Guile's stage and when Vega fell portal-style. Entertaining enough for me to vote yes.

To avoid clutter, I think it's better to just post in here. Here's the youtube video because it was incorrectly linked. Recording the sword fight alone probably would have been more efficient, as I read in the video description that you skipped a bunch of items and events leading to it in order not to bore the viewer (a bit ironic). Personally, I think people should focus their excitement towards a normal run of Final Fantasy IX before talking about a so-called 'perfect game' run. Those who can boast about completing such a run probably had to abuse resets in order to achieve it. What they don't realize is how this parallels to utilizing savestates. My point is I don't think a perfect run TAS would differ much from one done in real-time. The only difference is you'll see cleaner battles and prettier luck manipulation which won't add much if compared to a regular run, given the limitations.

Could've sworn I saw Saturn as an option on the poll at one stage.

Perhaps I misinterpreted all three responses to my previous post but the maoi featured on the poster in the original post looks strikingly familiar. Irritatingly was a poor choice of a word, but it has irritated me enough to want to find out the origin of it. Looks like an album cover.

The maoi looks irritatingly familiar to something I've seen before. I'm curious to find out what it's from.

Your piano playing was sleep-inducing but I loved your vocals. Save Tonight is one heck of a nostalgic song for me. Here's my friend playing one of her own compositions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoiiaMR56jA
