I can't find it, someone named Morfonious commented saying he saved all chapters up to chapter 14. Your best bet is try ask that person to pm or email you that story.
Thanks. I've pm'd him on youtube; not sure if he checks tho.

Well, that's the only emulator for the site that is preferred for TASing arcade games. :P

Hey, sorry for posting this, but does anyone have a copy of Chapter 3 of the fanfic: "Hour of Twilight" by Femto? It got deleted ~2 weeks ago and using google, I've managed to recover all chapters except "Chapter 3: A Bad Omen (Reworked)". And I know it's not an official fic, but it's related to MlP, so I'm asking this here.

How would this work for runs that might get heavily botted, causing it to have hundreds of thousands of rerecords?

Wait, I'll upload my WIP. I'm stuck trying to find a way to break the ice stage without end up doing the bare requirements for this stage. Edit: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/5074512333442008

Hi! Can there be a way to easily rearrange addresses entered? Sometimes, when I simply dump all the info from a .wch file, I look back at the page and find it hard to locate an address. Since there's no way to rearrange the order, I have to manually input them all again at the right order. I also have to do this when I want to place an address into the middle of the set.
Well, I've just noticed that addresses now automatically sort them selves in order once you refresh. Thanks! Also, anyone know which domain addresses around F400 - F600 for the GB belong to? A google search said that it's "reserved memory/Echo Ram", but there doesn't seem to be an option for this.

Nice run! But this quote confuses me:
If you make a side by side comparison while balancing out the lag frames, you can see that the Bizhawk version is slower.
So...what's the improvement again? I don't get it.

After reading that thread: I've played the game on emulator, there's no issue with emulation at all from what I can tell. It gave me 6m21s when I attempted scores a while back.
Try TASing it - you'll find a bug with the timer DURING the making of the TAS. ;)

Link to video Too bad they said they would only accept names that are popular these days, or I would've simply chosen "qweqweqeqwe" as a name for her baby.

I've been searching for a way to convert sms roms to genesis roms. Is it possible? The program hosted on zophar domain doesn't run on windows 7, windows detects it as malware and deletes it. Any ideas?
Try using a VM to run it on an OS that is compatible with the program.

Finlly checked your run. Sorry, but it's really sub-optimal. For example, in my test run, I've managed to reach the first powerup 1 frame faster. And that was just a test run. Let me find my latest version and upload it here. Brb Edit: <removed> Inb4OPfinsihesmywiplol Edit2: I've improved it so stop mentioning it.

Why is the "arrow cannon item" required? You don't seem to need to use it after getting it.
You have to obtain all the items to to be able to input the password at the beginning.

I checked the option you've suggested, but got desynced again. Maybe I should try this on Windows XP, but since I don't know how to use VM, I'll just wait someone else verifies it. Thanks for encode, anyway. Now let's move to other issue. Why doesn't it present any sounds? Actually this is crucial problem; there's even a precedent which was rejected for same reason.
That's one of the reasons why I didn't pursue on this run and the Ao Oni one further; both cannot be encoded to have sound for some reason.

My home's internet is dead for the next 2 days, and the one I'm leeching off takes forever to load youtube. I'm going to see if I can playback the run.

I have no clue what I just read, but since I was TASing this game, I'm going to check this run once I'm back home and see what can be improved.

Easy, means infinite life, so you can win times in the spikes :P, but I improved weirdly.... 1 frame by lags by choosing normal dif.
Guidelines say the choose hardest difficulty unless it only serves to prolong the game with increased enemy health. Also, isn't "TAS" mean Tool-Assisted Superplay/Speedrun? Using "easy" difficulty isnt exactly "superhuman". :P

Thought I'd post this now, cause the next update may take a while, depending on how lucky I am. I'm in the Novistador cave, but Dolphin is starting to freeze often here. Well, the game is freezing but Dolphin still runs, so I can do a loadstate to bypass the freeze. It appears to be random, but seems to occur the more enemies on screen.
Blowing up the rock on the GCN version can only be done in the (J)/PAL editions? It's a good thing you started the run with the (J) version then, huh? Even though I keep forgetting it's the (J) version. :P

Thank you for informing it. But unfortunately Lsnes-RR2 did not work with my machine. I devise a different method, or I wait.
Uh...you can try using a VM like virtualbox to get an OS which can run lsnes. I did that to TAS Windows games without crashing (often).

Was the difficulty too high for the rocket blast to kill both at once? Btw, AngerFist, what's Gimli?

Wait, what? 100 hours awake? And playing a single screen game? I used to do gaming marathons where me and a couple of friends finished a lot of nes and snes games. We would start at night, after a work day friday, which was crazy, and do it for 24 hours. So at the end I was awake for about 36 hours and looking like a zombie. I can't imagine staying awake for 100 hours, that must be really dangerous.
I've seen people play 100 hours+, but that was for an online MMORPG instead. If it were a single screen like this, I'd probably fall asleep.

Hi! I've compiled the route used in the run to the Game Resource page. It only mentions what is obtained; not how it is done. But at least if the video was ever removed, there's still something to fall back onto.

Exactly like he said. At least two digits. The next OoT run improved the previous one by 122636 frames. That's six digits, which is more than two. In fact, it's significantly more than two, but more than two or three nonetheless. Meanwhile, the current SM64 run in production has saved, what, seven frames so far?
I was laughing at how even though he's right, he's way off by 4 digits. And SM64 will probably be the only one closest to perfection in terms of N64 TAS's for a (long) while.

Why do I imagine the people behind MlP holding a wad of cash saying "never" when I see this comment? Oh right. Because this happened before with a game I played. :P
