Sorry, thought he was responding to feos's post.
Anyway, in that case, I think that'll lead to an even longer wall of text, so I don't think it'll be worth it.
Nice taking his signature totally out of context. I can do that too you know? Watch:
Hm...since he posted on this thread about toast, given his signature, he must've loaded the wrong state, causing him to post a joke to the wrong thread! And since he loaded the wrong state, he's about to go into a great depression; since we all know only sad people commit suicide, and based on his signature, he wants to kill himself, therefore, he's depressed!
Also, since he's about to redo 11 years of hard labour, he must've been a workaholic! No wonder he's depressed! Everyone knows work = misery. He must've overworked himself into loading the wrong state, causing him to become even more miserable, and eventually escalating into death!
In short:
What the heck did I just wrote?
Pong? Seriously?
.........
Er, yea...why isn't there PONG? It clearly is the most suitable game for a Tool Assisted Superplay, with it's simple graphics (the ball doesn't even look like a ball), and brilliant addicting gameplay. Oh god please tell me he isn't serious.
Here's some info about the "Salt in the Wound" mission glitches:
1. You can smuggle the minigun.
2. As long as you aren't in the boat as you reach Kenny, he won't move.
3. Kenny is attackable and killable as long as he doesn't reach his car.
4. You can leave the boat and hijack into another boat/car.
5. If you remain in the vehicle from doing above, you'll smuggle it into the island and most likely block Kenny from going to his comet.
6. Killing Kenny makes the mission unbeatable.
7. Stealing Kenny's car makes the mission unbeatable.
8. Kenny's comet is bullet-proof and seems to have an infinite amount of health.
9. If you get to Kenny's car and enter it just as Kenny reaches the car, he becomes stuck and unkillable, but can be pushed around by a car.
10. It's possible for Kenny to throw you out of the car.
11. It's possible for Kenny to drive away afterwards with Heston still in the comet.
12. You are nearly unkillable when you get out of the boat except by entering a car and drowning
13. You can't reenter the boat.
14. If you are in a vehicle or boat when Heston reaches Kenny, you lose the minigun.
15. You can get a boat onto land by hijacking one and wait for Heston to reach Kenny.
16. Graphical glitches appear once you leave the boat and do something else like press "X" or "A".
17. Kenny nor his comet never dissappears as long as the mission is still on.
18. Getting Kenny stuck and head out back to the water for a surprise.
19. Getting Kenny stuck and leaving Heston before rejoining him causes the red arrow to point at Kenny's comet.
And that's about it. The main highlights of the glitch is the minigun and Kenny's invincible comet. But the latter messes up with the mission.
Edit: Here's some info about cars:
1. The cars share addresses; if you destroy a car, for example, a car that later spawns would reuse that address
2. Changing camera direction while driving changes the cars ahead of you.
3. After you exit your house, actions from then on affect what car appears.
4. You can wait for a long time inside the house and the cars outside will still be the same no matter when you exit.
5. Comets don't seem to spawn outside your house at the beginning.
6. The red dukes seems to be the fastest car that appears as soon as you exit the house throughout all versions of DeSmuME
7. Driving straight is the fastest.
You realize that Landover Baptist Church doesn't actually exist, and it's actually a parody website?
The previous link, godhatessinners, redirects to landoverbaptist, but to the wrong thread. Just posting the fixed link in case anyone wants to read it. :P
Yuzuhara has actually made such run on the GBA version already. First part of it can be seen here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm17502239. And the other two in the description.
Did you use the Reset Curse Glitch for more hearts of something? Otherwise I have no clue. I'm not too familiar with the GBA version and its glitches.
Thanks! Think it'll be submitted? :P
Also, I believe what I did was enter a dungeon (which I don't think I completed yet) and used this glitch to go OoB (I was doing it in real time, but you can use the stairs to go OoB instead). I think I then travelled to a room where you refight one of the bosses and it dropped a heart container, even though I don't think that's supposed to happen according to GameFaqs.
I'm going to try and see if I can repeat this, and post the .vbm. If not, then I'm going nuts and my save file is just messed up. 0_o
Edit: And I've just realised all the boss refights are at ganon's tower! Welp, time to start playing.
I know this idea might not work, but since the SNES version is an all items run (sorta), why not make a glitched version of this for the GBA remake/port? As in, it has the same goals as this run, but uses the walk through walls glitch which this run doesn't. It'll make the GBA version look vastly different.
Oh, and obtain full health, which if I remembered correctly, I managed to do that without obtaining all the heart pieces (wtf?).
Check this out, I found a map of all Crazy Bound's overworld. Original image is here, and I translated myself. I hope this will help you.
Thanks! Also, regarding changing the frame rate, I was reminded of this quote:
adelikat wrote:
The verdict for this game specifically, random mode and 2x speed mode are considered cheat codes; therefore they are not eligible for fastest completion. That makes this the fastest any% movie and I am accepting it to the Vault due to good tech quality and goal choice, but poor audience support for the Moons tier.
While it's for Syobon Action only, I have a feeling that it may also apply for this game, since changing the frame rate isn't really an "improvement"; if you slow the video by 1/2, it'll be pretty much the exact same speed (try changing the value to 0 while running this game at 18fps 41 fps to see what I mean).
Yeah, it works much better on games that have numerical restrictions on progression (like the star doors in Super Mario 64). It may be possible to define an uncontroversial definition even for other games too, though.
In Dementium, it's faster to complete Chapter 6 starting from the boss instead; making that whole particular chapter done reversed. Does this count as sequence break since it does things out of order? Or does sequence breaking mean skipping parts of the game?

This kind of conspiracy theory is as hilarious as it is puzzling. So let me get this straight: NASA sends probes to Mars in order to study it, one of the main goals being to discover if life had been possible, if not even actually existed, in the past... and then they censor and cover up all signs of this very goal? Why? What for?
They obviously don't want people to know that there are ponies on Mars.
Ok, jokes aside, here's a conspiracy about MlP. It should seem familiar to those who visited the MlP thread here.
2) multi game completion challenge. Try and make an input file that completes the greatest possible number of games. :) I think it' sup to 5 now? surely we can do better. :) Completing different types of game with the same input is very good form. :) And no fair sneaking in pauses that affect some games and not others. all games must start as soon as feasable as well.
Besides, I have a question. I just recall that this game has a speed setting which can be made with Enter key. In Crazy Bound, default value is 23, and the lower the value is, the faster the game becomes. To beat the game as fast as possible, this value has to be set as 0. So... did you count this while making TAS?
One problem. That changes the frame rate only. Since hourglass's frame rate can't be changed, I'll have to manually set the fps to ~39 for this to work, or it'll stay at the same speed. Kinda like Syobon Action with the space bar only working if you run the game at 60 fps.
I ask again, like I've tried asking before.
We have a Derpy design already; who else would you like to see?
How much would you be willing to pay for one of these?
While I don't have money to pay for anything (leeching off my parents ftw?) I'd love to see a design that push games quilts to their limits - something amazing that people never really thought quilting could achieve. If you have time, that is.
I won't get into the minefield of a 100% definition(yet); but I do hope a run along those lines can be done. The any% becoming a demo for a few major skips was a huge disappointment for me, (as interesting as those glitches are) as, for lack of a better term, it looked like the any% was going to able show the whole game off.
But if it doesn't do those glitches, it will be judged as a playaround, since it doesn't complete the game at the fastest time. I don't think the run would be interesting enough to skip the glitches though.
That guy invented the glitch as well. I wish he would've posted his speedrun though. All these times being thrown around just make me want to see a video of one of these records even more.
Here are some stuff known about the addresses of Crazy Bound:
You start with 5 health.
You start in X. Pos of 6400
Abilities:
0 - Nothing
1 - Blue Box
3 - Blue Box + WallJump
7 - Blue Box + WallJump + Destroy Bricks
15 - Blue Box + WallJump + Destroy Bricks + Arrow "Cannons"
31 - Blue Box + WallJump + Destroy Bricks + Arrow "Cannons" + Steer
All the other values are glitched
Once value 31 is reached, you can go back to the start area, and press in order " Up, Up, Down, Right, Right, Left, Up, Right" to unlock the way to the end. Getting all coins is optional, but makes things more interesting. I'm going to do an any% run for feedback first.
