I could certainly rip out the gameboy colors option from VBA and use it. My only problem is that I'm a bit worried that everyone will have their own idea what the right GBC colors are, and then I might as well add customizable transfer functions and whatnot... As far as Kirby Tilt and Tumble goes, analog support in bizwhack is a bit far away at this point. And then this particular mapper needs to be supported too... I wouldn't hold my breath, sorry =/ There are a few thousand other GB games that do work, though!
Uh..."Keitai Denjuu Telefang - Speed Version" has a mapper of 10, which according to the chart, is supported. But while the game works, there's no graphics.

That's interesting, let's hope the record time soon crosses the 1 minute line, so it becomes especially obvious this run needs its own category.
How does that work? Faster run = new category? What?

The "Journey to Silius" TAS seems to sync (for the first stage, at least) so, thanks for the fix! :) Edit: Desyncs on the second stage, with the previous TAS desync at the first. Oh well, nothings perfect, but at least it beat the first stage. :P

This run of Ao Oni is, while far from perfect, chose to replace the default chase music with this: Link to video

Due to obsessed ADD crybabies, BIOSes are generally eliminated or skipped here at TASVideos. This does skew the value of hard resets on many consoles. /me shrugs
Is it possible to simply edit the input file to include the length of the BIOS's start up?

Does anyone have a NESBot along with the game "Journey to Silius"? I noticed that the previous run is console verified, but the current run isn't. I'm curious would all the lag-reduction in the run actually occurs on the real console. :)

WIP currently at 31 stars now. We will probably quickly get 34-35 stars, then HMC 100 coins will have to be done.

It's sad that you weren't able to trigger the debug menu. It would've been quite funny to have another run like the glitched Earthbound TAS. :P

The fact there's two movies on Fisher Price is impossible.

Yes, my movie is faster than hims. And if I dont play until the end of the credits, that's because Matty doesn't it. Then, i stopped exactly at the same moment of the game, because i dont want to miss the record. If I'm sure to get the record even if I finish the movie, I'll do it. Can a moderator tell me about that? Thx :) The fight against Julius... Matty does the firts fight faster than me, the 2nd, we're equal, and the 3rd, I'm faster ;)
Any reason why the first fight was slower? Also, I haven't seen the previous run, but does MattyXB's input file manage to get the credits to roll? If so, I think it's fair you do the same. :P

It would be known as an official "TAS World Record". :P That's why this site exist, right? To document tool-assisted world records?

Link to video Link to video Videos that high-ranking people of RuneScape made to prove they didn't micro-transact in a game. Why? Because RuneScape is serious business.

Actually, you probably don't need cheat engine. I just got good results with this game using the RAM search inside hourglass.
Lucky. Most games I ran on Hourglass had addresses that CHANGED location every tim I ran it. So I used the "pointer scan" option in Cheat Engine to relocate it every time.

Meh. People have been uploading my runs without ever asking, but I don't care; It's not like I make loads of cash from Youtube views or anything. :P

How about changing the camera angle instead of player's direction? I think SM64 DS run used that trick.
Hey, that's a great idea! Probably a lot easier than changing the character's direction and losing speed. I'm going to use that for SpongeBob BfBB sometime in the future. Thanks!
C stick is not really useful in a TAS where you have 360 degrees of control. Yes, moving the camra in games where you can only use the D-pad is great, but look at runs like SM64; sometimes, the TASer's play with the camera instead of using it to see better.

Then why not simply hex edit the .wtf to correct it?

Thanks, itsPersonnal! Ok, let's assume the worst case scenario in which you can't skip the 75 Spatula door in the Chum Bucket. In that case, what are the 75 fastest Spatulas for this game?

...huh? There are loads of other games with version specific tricks. For example, the recently published Super Mario Land run uses a trick exclusive to version 1.0 of the game. So, why should it be banned?
