Hi again! I tried to break open the car window like you did, but it seems that I can only hit(kick?) it 5 times rather than 6 like shown in the video. So the question is, how do you do that? Can you please tell me?

Actually, in the case of DS/GBA games, this isn't an issue. They both run at the same frame rate, the only differences usually present are either a language selection screen, or different publisher logos.
Uh...actually, some games like the Minish Cap have glitches or tricks that only seem to work on one version, not both.

I'd say, we have 4 movies for this game: 1 for playing as Jill 1 for playing as Chris 1 for the best ending(Chris) 1 for the best ending(Jill) ................................... Is that ok?I'm not sure because I haven't played the ds version before

Bisqwit found morimoto's TAS movies and decided to make a site that hosts them. I don't see anywhere in the history where it mentions Bisqwit contacting morimoto and asking permission.

Since my question relates to this game, I'll ask it here: Assumming a TASer mainipulates the appearance of an Amazy Dazy(To level up), I wonder would this be faster than to run thru the game at a low level?

I agree! That's why I redid the entire first 2 worlds! You can download the WIP here. It's a 277 frame improvement over my first run I made thanks to several tricks I discovered and better mainipulation of the boss's intro music. Edit: Youtube'd

Blaster Master's published run, made expertly by Namflow, is one of the older ones on this site, dating back to mid-2005. This run, however, will not be obsoleting it.
There's one problem. If this run doesn't obsolete Namflow's run, what catagory will it be in? It cant be "glitched" run, as Namflow's run also used glitches, so what will it be catagorized when it gets published?

Good News!! It seems that a youtube member found a way to battle Cynthia IN the Void!! And I think I found a way to get to the void without explorer's kit, but I need see if it works. I'll try later as I got a Black Screen when rying to save at the Pokemon League/Place where the Elite 4 is fought/Building past Victory Road. If it works, then maybe we can catch Giratina early and use him for the entire run??

Please don't reject this run because if you do, I'm sure noone would ever attempt to TAS this game ever again.... Oh, that and because this run was somewhat entertaining.

But is it still possible to mainipulate perfect pokemon using the RNG Method/Abuse like those videos on youtube? Because if we can, then it'll save alot of time because instead of, for example, check every frame for a good natured Chimchar with 31 iv's in attack, we could just start the game at the right time to get one instead. Edit: Oh, and you don't need to find out about the SID(Secret ID) by catching a shiny, just check the game's addresses/codes/memory instead.

I got an idea!! Since it is now possible to mainipulate the Trainer's id and Secret id, then maybe we could make it so that the ids will generate a perfect starter at a low frame so that it'll be much easier than to try out every frame. .......... Also, by studying the game's.....code? we can alter the void so that it'll qiuckly warp us to the Hall of Fame Is that a good idea? Edit: If that doesn't work, or it takes too long, then I think you could use the void to warp to the Pastoria Gym. You can get to the void as shown in the video like this(seriously, these voids should be explored with savestates! After all, maybe they can lead to the Hall of Fame!)

I have recently discovered 2 neat glitches. One allows me to skip over 1/2 of the stages:Yoodle a Sea Doo(3-4) and Trech Bottom(4-2). Another allowed me to quickly end the battle with Dennis. You can see the Wip here.

When going past some enemies, you stop to kick which seems to lose you time. In many of these cases it seems that you could jump over the enemy instead. Would this be faster?
If I jump over the enemies on the first stage that throws crates at you, I'll bounce on the crate, slowing me down. Some enemies are located in places where jumping over them because there are ceilings/blocks/walls/etc blocking my way, or that jumping will cause me to get hit. Some enemies are located in a place that if a jump over it, I might obtain a carrot, losing 10 frames.

Also, there was a pause when fighting the boss of stage 2... notice that the last bounce on the boss hit him pretty early in comparison to some other hits. It's debatable whether that manipulates luck or just takes advantage of boss patterns, though....
If I hit him earlier in the other hits, he will mysteriously vanish for 300 more frames then usual. But if I hit him at the earliest possible moment at the last hit, he won't dissappear.
