Still new discoveries after all these years. Are there any similar oddities potentially possible?

Huh. Curious how its Nintendo consoles getting emulated (and preserved) while other consoles and their content get ignored and forgotten. lol I'm kinda conflicted; while this means piracy, it also means its easier for future generations to play it.

Wow. Judging underway and already a potential improvement. That was fast.

I would've made a comment about emulator choice, but then DS emulation seems...inaccurate in general in my experience, so there's that. Awaiting encode.

Play back the TAS and record as AVI at the same time.

Uh...depends. This glitch was supposed to crash the game. It crashes the emulator as well. Same happens on 0.9.11

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but since google code is closing, where would the bug reporter move to?

The handicap I meant is the point boost. If you don't get 999 points, all the CPUs get around 100 points instead. Edit: 1. 04D8 seems to be the score; it can go over a thousand, despite not showing up on the HUD 2. Right before the race ended, I edited it to 4000. All the CPUs suddenly got 3900+ higher score. x.x 3. 034F seems to be the speed. Highest I can go normally with fastest characters is 160, and the only way I managed to get higher was when an opponent bumps into me from behind.

I would actually recommend to do all stages instead of a single level TAS. And dude that trick can be done that fast!? My guess is that you shouldn't do the trick that fast... only with strategic timing and placement.
1. All stages? The NPCs are on steroids lol. >.> 2. I don't think it would matter when I boost, since I got the feeling the handicap is applied after the finish line. I can't check now, but I can at the weekend. 3. For number 1, how exactly do I move faster?? Right now like I mentioned, the npcs speed past me faster than I ever could. Edit: Oh, and thanks encoder! :P

Well, that's rather unforunate. Thanks for the effort though! Also, I'm kinda stuck on a room due to intense lag. I think I need to redo/edit the last 2 stages to preserve silver ammo. Edit: Saving some ammo and somehow on the way to the building with the main frames I lost 5 frames. Also killing things at a different time and letting others live affect future building NPCs as long as you don't leave. Edit2: Wasted 19+ frames by the end of 1 stage. I think continuing now and leave it as a potential improvement would make more sense.

Or just do this. :|

Hey, since there was an interest in infinite runs, I think this can be a candidate for an infinite TAS; hell there's even a 70 day real world record for it, so it has much more "meaning" than SMB2 infinity.

How do I use lua? Whenever I open the lua menu, it gives http://pastebin.com/wxGAm9RA If I drag the script instead if gave: http://imgur.com/BZlCN6M,iO9RRhP This happened with another user as well, but some managed it. What am I doing wrong?

I'm pleasantly surprised the smooze wasn't made into a thousand year entity bent on destroying the world. :P

Hey, I'm not sure why, but using on VBA 24 gives C:\Users\User\Documents\wl2\WL2Overlay.lua:34: attempt to index global 'mainmemory' (a nil value)
Because the script was made specially for Bizhawk. There is no need to change memory domain when using Lua in VBA. In my previous post I also already requested the script to be altered so it can be used in VBA.
Huh. In BizHawk 1.9.4 it keeps crashing http://imgur.com/BZlCN6M,iO9RRhP I tried downloading lua51.dll and placing in various folders, but it won't stop crashing.

Wario Land II navigation script v3 Small update here but it might be useful. It never occurred to me that secret exits might have a different tile property, but sure enough they do. These previously displayed as red blocks in the script but should now show up as doors. Hopefully you guys can find some useful ones. Also I changed the door color to green because quite a lot of OoB is black. I've listed the door types and their tile properties in the file description. I have no idea what would happen if you enter a secret exit in a level that isn't supposed to have one. Probably nothing interesting but worth checking out.

I remembered saving and restarting changed the layout a bit; I think testing that again with the script might help. :o

Hey, this suddenly popped into my mind, but is it possible to get a dump of the OoB sections of individual stages? Since different versions of this game have different OoB layouts, finding OoB applications for 100% manually would be rather taxing.

There isn't a 100% route. If there was, the bombers notebook content wouldn't be part of it.
Aw. Why? That seems to include quite a number of sidequests. Although I must admit it must be a pain to plan, but hey, that doesn't always stop others

Hey, I got a question. Is there a TAS route for 100% including the bomber's notebook?
