I thought this was kinda hilarious. I think it may fare better to playaround a bit during the waiting times, but oh well.

Yes vote. Last submission you mentioned the 2 stage -> max score was possible, but a lot harder with the highest difficulty. Now I'm curious on whether this is achievable on the hardest difficulty lol

You mean throw a tantrum? …RNG?
Er...yes, but as in the memory address(es) responsible along with their values.

1. Up to 54 at once? For a 100% completion that doesn't involve arbitrary code execution, is it possible to change the pokemon and have it register in the pokedex without going to the egg stage? 2. For the purpose of 100%, is it possible to change a wild pokemon such that catching it would register as something else? 3. There's no way at this moment to bypass the anti-cheat script regarding stealing right? 4. In addition to my question regarding transferring glitched pokemon and/or moves to diamond/pearl/platinum, is there any effects on transferring them to colosseum/XD? 5. Are there any glitched items that can be obtained? 6. So far, I recall the pomeg glitch messing with pokemon data, fly data, bag data, and battle, but what else can be changed? Btw thanks for answering!

Well, if stealing pokemon won't work, how about corrupting wild pokemon to something else? Also, how many pokemon in the PC can be glitched into something else via corruption at the same time?

iirc super mario bros. minigame for the advance mario remakes have a 2P option. Telefang games would be 2P as well like pokemon and Megaman battle network. There's a small list of wifi adapter games here, which also implies link cable usage, but I'm unfamiliar with most of them listed.

No vote. It's not the worse I've seen, but it lasts far too long for my liking. The terrible end stage "dance", vacuum cat, and 1 minute of flying items ruined it for me. The minute of item flying made stage 7 look tolerable in comparison. :| Sorry.

According to gamefaqs, there's 2 modes of play. Does that affect the possible score?

Posting here because I don't want to derail this thread.

As an example I used Super Mario All-Stars where SMB3 reads one of the uninitialized values and if that is 0x80 (so you basically have a 1/256 chance on a real SNES) allows you to change the powerup status when pressing select: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSdFdJGr5xA
1. Wow? This might actually make some parts of a SMB3 playaround rather interesting. 2. Any other effects that can occur? 3. How abuseable is this for a speed-oriented TAS?

Well, imo it depends on whether the memo pad can provide enough entertainment for 5 minutes that would justify the 20 seconds used. Edit: Post a short WIP on that section maybe? Let's see how others find it.

This run beats the previous one by 14.84 seconds, thanks to many optimizations and using the Japanese version.
Wait, so is this:

The U version has 56F more lag in the Title/Opening screen than the J version. But, J version has about 25F more lag than U version in each stage. After about 3 stages, the U version is ahead.
Just due to different emulation from vba or does that hold true regardless if it's the vba-m or the old branch?

I'm not sure we need a 99 phase TAS. The levels start looping after a fixed amount of phases, at which point it just becomes boring to watch, and there's nothing technically worthwhile either.
Fair enough. There's a similar-ish game called "Mario Clash" for the virtual boy. I wonder if that ever loops or goes to 99 instead.

Probably not... seeing how PAL and NTSC are different they can be two different games. Uh, probably as a description though.
Will the NTSC TAS be 99 phases?

Since you can get bad eggs and possibly other glitched pokemon legit with this ACE/memory corruption, does this allow getting said glitched pokemon into d/p/pt with pal park?

Master will be getting the main physics fixes though very soon. It'll make physics hardware accurate in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, Donkey Kong Country and others games. https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/834 Hopefully now that we narrowed down F-Zero GX to one instruction, it won't be long before we have hardware accurate physics in master for it as well!
What exactly is affected on those games? Is it just the replay going wonky or the game physics for everything there?

Ahm I would like to ask... should I use stickers or not ? Manipulating stickers seems pretty much next to impossible (very long and hard task). But they do give bonuses . For instance, the super mario baseball makes me spawn with a home run bat every time a character goes through a door, which is nice, but I would need one Super Mario Baseball sticker for each character. See the problem ? What should I do ?
1. Wow, I never knew that sticker existed. 0_o 2. Bosses seems to drop a number of stickers. Are they determined before the battle or at the last hit?

I'm kinda worried about what will happen when I will have a very fast character and a slow one... (Pit and Mario) The trophy stand only does a certain amount of damage. If it does kill the enemy, then he will become a trophy, else he's just going to lose some HP. And it's slow to use. So I didn't use it here.
Sad the trophy stand wasn't used, but oh well. Also, there's a button iirc that drags the 2nd player to the first, so that could be used (sparingly). Edit: Also, would any stickers be helpful?

I've been thinking. I recall a post saying that the ACE glitches are possible on the super mario world + all stars rom. For a playaround, how about utilizing ACE so that the final door to bowser leads to a bowser fight of one of the other games? That seems like something that would not only throw people off, but also be different from other ACE TASes. Edit: Or lead to Wart.
