These are the sections that I like the most from this run: 1. using the key to jump across spaces 2. small Mario flying with Yoshi... that was very entertaining. Poor Yoshi can't swallow the blue shell. 3. watching caped Mario to fly pass obstacles (usually platforms or into the walls). Thought this isn't new and they are in almost every SMW TAS now, but I like to see them -- it makes a TAS a TAS. Thank you Chef Stef for making the run!

Nice TAS! I was entertained. Thank you for sharing Mister! (A definite YES vote from me if this was a submitted run).

Didn't know that the previous run can still be improved. Though the movie is already published, I will still cast my yes vote.

Just like what others have said.... unexpected (didn't see this one coming), awesome and entertaining run! I like the camera angle you've used when Mario is running along the edge of the lava pool before entering to fight Bowser. The side view is a fresh perspective to watch Mario running there. An easy YES vote!

Thanks for the WIP, that was awesome! Lots of improvements I can see compare to the existing 120 stars run. Definitely looking forward to the 120 stars run when it's released.

I started played the Mega Man series since Mega Man 2. As with most (if not all) people here, I think this run is fast and entertaining. A big YES vote from me! Thank you Shinryuu for all the hard work that was put into making this run!

The new trick in Donut Secret House passing thru stairs is nice. This run is entertaining to watch! An easy YES vote. I look forward to the 96-exit run! Thanks for all the hard work!

I like the idea of not providing the WIP movie as well. It will not spoil the fun when the final version comes out. Like ShinyDoofy, I don't think showing a screenshot means much -- not that I object to the idea. To me, showing a screenshot like this is just the same as (just for example) saying "currently the TAS is up to JRB, and 15 stars collected". I am ok with either format -- just text and/or a picture. I will wait patiently until the entire TAS/movie is done.

I have a rom that matches the CRC (33912C73) of the updated Kaizo Mario World 2 TAS, however, it desyncs during the yellow switch palace as well. So, it looks like there are at least two copies of the ROM with different content but the same CRC. (or maybe it was the result of doing hex edit cut & paste with the input?) Anyway, out of the 5 patches I have for Kaizo Mario World 2, only one patch (CRC32 = 4560ED03) that played pasted the yellow switch palace. However, it desyncs in the middle of the level that follows. Can someone please provide a patch that doesn't desync ? UPDATE: I found a patch that plays until the end of the game. Here's the ips file: http://rapidshare.com/files/90333327/kaizo_mario2d_ips.rar.html Apply it to the US version of the SMW ROM. After applying the patch, the in-game (the one shown in SNES9x) CRC32 = A75B9D22. I think the Bowser fight is awesome in this hack -- at least it's different than all the SMW hacks I've seen. The last boss is nice too. I wonder how many people can beat the last boss without savestate or tool-assisted. I would like to thank gocha for posting the SMV files and thank the people who did the TAS for these two hacks!

Mister's Kaizo Mario World 2 TAS' expected movie's ROM is crc32=18097410. I've tried 5 different "Kaizo Mario World 2" ips (including the one uploaded by P.Jboy) patches and none of them matches 18097410. (and of course, they all desynch.) Can someone please provide the correct patch ?

For POW, I definitely prefer the arcade version. I was a fan of POW for a long time. When the NES version came out, I bought a copy quick. If you don't know anything about the arcade version, then the NES version is pretty good. However, if you've played the arcade version, the NES version sucks bad. If wish there's a re-record and frame skip in MAME (or any arcade emulator) that will allow TASing the arcade version of POW.

How can I vote NO to an entertaining run? Not to mention that it's faster than the published run. Voted YES!

I find this run entertaining to watch. That's probably because of me being a Mario fan. I like most Mario games (and many hacks). While watching the run, there are few times where I thought Mario can be faster. However, that's probably because of me not knowing all the ins & outs of the SMB engine. Voting YES!

Though I am not familiar with the GBA version of this game, I find this run entertaining to watch! Very fast paced and non-stop actions. Voting YES!

Entertaining to watch! It would be nicer to see less "switching between different power up", I guess that's not possible without sacrificing time. Voting YES!

The submission text reads: "Note: I didn't use this trick in stage 8-3 otherwise I would have had to decide whether to waste 42 frames in watching three fireworks or not to by wasting 19+ frames somewhere else to miss them...." Is this what you're talking about?
Yeah, that's it. Not sure how I missed that note. Thanks for pointing that out! Well, somehow it leds me to believe that can be improved. I am sure someone will get to it eventually.

I saw klmz's run... The question I have for it is: For the last flag pole, why isn't the flagpole trick used? (is it because it doesn't save any frame?)

As long as it's a fun/entertaining run, I am voting YES for it. This run is entertaining and faster than the previously published run. Phil, thanks for another TAS of SMB!

I think this would be useful even though I haven't download your file yet. So far, I only download those movie files that I find interesting... (mario, megaman, MK, Gradius, and few others), but it's nice to keep a complete collect in case I want to check out others (while not on-line). I just tried to download the file but can't. Can you put it up for download again?

Nice one. "What stars?" So, ?
When I first look at the picture and the 0 star completion run, I was saying the same "??? restoring the star".... However, if you really pay attention to it, Mario did pick up one power STAR. After he beat browser for the third time, he pick up a power STAR and then fly away. Yeah, I know, many people can argue that's not what "STAR" really means. But it's a STAR regardless how you argue it. So, I think when this run gets published, I think it should be starred like this: (or maybe even throw the in there as well )

I find Genisto's SMB3 run more entertaining than this one. For this SMW run, like many other has already commented, most of the tricks/glitches presented in this run are known and shown in various SMW & SDW runs already. It's not as entertaining to watch as the recent SMW runs. This run will stand out as a "glitches-showing tool assisted run", but it won't fit in any of the existing SMW categories. I am voting meh.
