thanx for those shortcuts, i didnt know about them.
as for the roms, i tried playing your movie with nearly 10 types or roms i could find and none of them played the title screen.
about the menus, thats exactly how i did it, i held start and released it frame by frame untill it worked. that was the fastest possible.

First of all, i couldnt watch your WIP. it didnt even press start on the title screen, i dont know why.
about your comments:
level 20: ? shoot wall? which wall?
level 24: no i couldnt, its the same as in all screens of the game, i did it using frame advance.
level 28: you're right, i just blindly followed the faq and my memory of the game.
level 30: no i couldnt because i only lost 1 second there, and in no other place i can get a bomb at the price of a second (they are way more out of the way).
level 37: i guess you're right about the route, but the bomb was used to kill lag and avoid the invisible wizards.
level 38: if you say so, then its possible, but i havent tested one thing: if its faster to move diagonally or ortogonally (down then right). the speed differences are very high, maybe its the same.
level 78: again, i used frame advance, so it couldnt have been even 1 frame faster.
thanks for your comments, i'm already thinking of a second version.

i couldnt agree more, in fact i think the video quality is a little higher than it could be (so we could have smaller avis).
want full quality? download the emulator file
want easy watching? download the lossy avi

why not play better AND use the glitch? if someone finds a new glitch but play worse, then the former record holder can just barge in and get the record again.

hmmmm that savestate tree could be interesting, but it has to have some limitations, like you need to especifically create another branch with some hotkey, or else it can go branch crazy

Bit comet is the most user friendly program, it does everything automatically, i can open it with windows automatically, it will open all torrents automatically (like 30) and will start seeding / downloading them automatically. How can i do that with another client?
I'd rather force everyone to use bitcomet than forcing everyone to stop using it.

What i understand the problem was, is that bitcomet was giveing advantage in queues and kbytes sent to other bitcomet users, and neglecting other clients.

thats because those 2 exits were similar in length, and the time required to wait in map room to get the optimized exit would result in slower final exit

Yea i agree that it doesnt look impressive to ppl who havent played it. But if you play it on normal mode you wont go through the third level or so, and when you see that this was played on hard mode so quick, thats impressive.

You're right, mega drive has the .bin and .smd rom formats, i dont know if its just naming (probably not, there must be more to it). Anyway, its a typo.
