I dont like the result of my semi completed ecco run, but even so i dont think it can look much better. Yes bumping into rock turns is needed. I stopped simply because the overall quality wasnt paying off the incredible amount of effort required to record it.

Zsnes has rewind, but it skips to savestates, it doesnt do the rewind animation. Yes, for the tool-assisted time attack community, the biggest gain would be in movie watching.

I think i got it how it works, and its really cool to have a button on the joystick to do rewind that way. Now i want to dl the emulator to test it :) but i'm guessing you dont have it compiled and ready for users to dl do you

So, i chose to dump the avi playing at 100% speed. I used techsmith codec, since the hufyuv ffdshow codec simply closed fceu upon movie start. But the audio was always playing at diferent speed, and soon it would be several seconds off. So i recorded again but i tried changing emu speed. The audio was recorded in real time while for the video dumped the frames 1 by 1 that means, if i sped up the video it would record all frames, but the audio would be short. Does that mean if my pc cant dump the avi fast enough the audio will be out of pace? I just couldnt get it to dump a single synced avi file.... i also tried encoding directly to xvid 1 pass and it same thing audio never got synced after some time.

download the libav codec pack thing indicated on the FAQ from this site. after installation, all players should have h264, i think. i had trouble installing it too, i dont know if its paying off the trouble to install it for the users

that glitch must be related with the skip level cheat of that game. seems to work same way and you can use the normal fceu to watch the movie EDIT: hmmm funny.... that really seems to BE the cheat code itself. Its that in brazil the controllers used to allow left+right if you press it enough, we thought the code was just jump and swing controller, but that must be what happened.... (same left+right effects happened to me when i was playing battletoads on my phantom system)

personally, i find it a good game, its just too hard but i agree, there's no reason to not come to a veredict. its faster than current video, accept or cancel everything, it seems simple to me. off-topic: what exactly in your mind makes the SNES version of prince of persia worse than the other ones?????? its clearly the best there is.

I found it clever, because he didnt waste any total avi time by doing this, still he could end eariler.

I'd like to see a perfect chess game where you dont lose any piece and grabs all the enemy's pieces leaving the king for last and checkmating him.

And you need to use savestates a lot more than just between races.

The egg content doesnt depend on which egg you take, but what position you are in when you hit it. (thats what i remember)
