you can watch the fmvs on roms that have nothing more than sprite hacks of the version the movie was made. :) the thought has occured, but for some reason bisqwit won't host hacked roms movies.

If this was work i would like to get paid for it. this is fun, i make movies cause they are fun to make. i don't know how old you people are, but i'm 23 and i got 2 jobs. that's real work. these are just videogame replays of gameplays, if you consider that work, well you're way off. My position remains that you can do whatever you want with my movies for the simple reason that i LOSE CONTROL OVER THE MOVIES ONCE I PUBLISH THEM ON THE INTERNET. i can't make my movies and then keep them in a little black box under my bed, that is pointless. these movies were made to be seen and the guy wants to make that happen to people who don't have dsl or tons of free time. how can u forbid him of doing it if this is not a paid "business"? can you take the time to stay on the internet all day looking for people selling your movies, and then sueing them for having used? the answer is clear, and if you don't want him to use, i think you need to open your eyes. cause if he doesn't sell others will. I prefer to support him as he just found another way of promoting the movies. and my name. i don't care how much he is charging, if someone paid, GOOD FOR HIM! the person wanted to pay, he said it's downloadable through a site for free, he's not claiming to have made the movies, just for compiling the collection. but even so, it's the users choice, so there's nobody losing here.

it's because you pause gens using the quickpause button... you must play the movie, and start re-recording be fore the pause and stop movie before the pause so you can remove it

The movies i find funner to see are the ones i made! it's really cool to make a video. only one who made a video for a especific game knows how hard it is, therefore sees it as even more impressive than other people do. This goes for anybody reading this: if you never tried making a movie, pick a quick game and try it!

i think that when there are no enemies on the screen it scrolls faster. at least for level 1 it works that way

it's done. 19 minutes and 10.8 seconds. that's a lot faster.... i don't think my old movie had only 455 re-recordings though. andi was watching my goldaxe duel mode and it said 0 re-recordings. that's because i made it with old version of gens. and when playing it on gens version 8 it ignores all re-recordings count made on the old version... :P http://paginas.terra.com.br/lazer/parasempredaniel/mickeycoi-foda.zip "right click and save target as" EDIT: the game was playing on HARD mode, as anyone can state by going in the game and seeing the differences between normal and hard mode. the reason you don't see me pick hard mode is because i press C to change difficulty and press start so fast that mickey doesn't even start spinning that thing. :P BUT, if the movie was purely for speed i would have to get hit in order to have only 1 energy point at the end of the level for a smaller bonnus point count. wich was not the intention of this movie, this is as fast as possible without getting hit, wich in this case i find more entertaining.

i thought nintendo said "np, it's ok to make movies of old nes games". so i don't think they would make a drastic change as to sue a person (if it was a company selling the movies, ok, but it's a PERSON). it's paranoic to think anybody will even care about this, get real....

1 - because he didn't see where all the money went? 2 - because the controls didn't work (u need to insert a coin, but hey, who needs to read instructions?) 3 - because he didn't know where is the POWER switch haha i think they are all correct

but why bother that someone is making money over a work u did FOR FREE? we are making movies and we aren't charging anyone to view them, what's the problem if the guy wants to sell??? i'm not losing anything. he can sell my movie for a million dollars as if i cared. in brazil it's very common to buy magazines that are actually cds full of demos. DEMOS. it's the work of collecting everything, making a nice selection, and put it all in one practical cd for easy access. it saves the trouble of downloading, watching the videos, just to find out some aren't really interesting, etc. if he advertises it like this: "Best tool assisted timeattacks collection up to [this date]." people will buy. he just has to mention the site where he got it from and info on every player very well seable. i have no objections. but that's just me as it seems....
