They should seriously consider removing those "random try" stages because they ruin the motivation to experiment the game.

I found this game to be extremely boring. It would be better if it would show a permanent projection of the trajectory and you could move the pieces until it was on the right path. Trial and error is slow the way it is now.

As time goes on my hope of someone submitting a surprise 1-star run diminishes... AKA seems sooo close.
I'm afraid I won't be able to help testing as I will lose my home pc soon. Best of luck to all others, but it would be easier if AKA could think about the world and share what he has :P

I would choose to not finish the game, just make a music video clip, but it's hard to choose which game and what music.

Which is the base of the hoax (some perfect sense). If nobody gave him credit he would just "ok ok, here's how you do it". Or if he doesn't do that, it is a joke.

I wouldn't buy that you've found the fastest route on SMB if you assumed it required pressing -> + B most of the time. What about the glitches we don't know about? edit: hum, you want to find a fast route, not the fastest. I would like a bot to find the fastest completion on some game. king's bounty (genesis) is the shortest published movie, which is 10 seconds long. 610 frames. how long would it take to test every combination possible of 1p + 2p or just 1p that take 609 frames or less and see which ones finish the game? (sorry for being off-topic)

I would recommend frame advance to be on a standard key that can be held with multiple other buttons at the same time without making most people's keyboards go crazy, like shift, ctrl or alt.

I've "managed" to have them both fall at the edge of the map almost at the same time, too bad it doesn't record the plays.

Maybe the best thing to do is lose 19 lives on the first grey/yellow wave so you can maximize saved money on the start... I just got 12,9 million (my current record) on switchback. But I had 8 lives left.

As expected, USA has most total medals so far, congrats! http://www.rio2007.org.br/data/pages/8CA3C78913C3802A0113C38EDF3403C5.htm I'm surprised that Brazil has so many gold medals though, I wonder if it's because not the main athletes from the other countries are participating.

No no, I meant I can do better on "no turns" than on "frog", but I haven't reached 43 on "no turns" yet. My best is 20.

A friend of mine that now sleeps when watching a TAS showed me the SMB3 video when 2003 turned into 2004 and I started downloading all of the videos on bisqwit's site thinking that they were all absolutely perfect. All 4 videos at first. (probably gradius, smb3, hi no tori and that other japanese game video that just recently got obsoleted).

The great graphics and music entertained me during some of the boring stages. I vote yes. edit: this game could be made much more enjoyable with a cam hack that keeps donald on the center of the screen, or moves the camera more smoothly to the sides when he turns. I don't know what were the programmers thinking. That ruins the game for me, otherwise, an impressive snes game.

Vector TD 10,040,111 on spiral map $ 2,925,343 money at the end, 20 lives left. although i realize now that extra lives don't give bonus at the end, so it's best to let some pass and save some money for extra interest. The strategy was play for 1 and a half hour and save all the money I could. Lots of patience. I bought all upgrades for interest, just put that +25% attack at the last wave. http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/1080/vectortd10040111fodavy2.png

Edit: Also, there's another bit of info that I pulled from elsewhere: "You can change the speed of your ship by hitting the Select button, which was a common feature in the 16-bit days, but practically unheard of for the Famicom."
I thought you could do that on Gun Nac. (edit: yes, you can, 4 levels of speed, as I remembered and checked now)
