i can't see any way this game would make for a suprising tas. it's obvious that you'll just keep moving forward and puching him as soon as possible without missing. plus, it's never ending

It just sounded like you were complaining at luke like when you say "you should make your version clean". It's not very nice, he's doing a good job.

if you want to get the video from youtube go to temoporary files, located the file (you'll have to rely on filesize since it's got a vague name and no extension), copy it to somewhere else and rename to AVI

In my point of view, these are the things that need to be thought about when uploading videos to those kinds of sites: - complete/uncut version of the avi published on nesvideos - text info regarding short explanation of tool-assisted timeattacks (differences to normal gameplay) - proper links (namely the nesvideos site and the video in question) - some explanation that the video might have been obsoleted already - include the word "official" somewhere

Oh, i can remember ferretwarlord made a goodbye thread too. Well, i know too well that stuff going on with life is first priority over making a TAS.. i was really enjoying the Starfox work so far, but at the pace it was going, i wasn't expecting it to be completed anytime soon anyway XD Hope it all works out good whatever are the issues, good luck you too :)

Count all brazilians wanting to see it too. SMS is still manufactured in Brazil! Also, it's not about which system is better, this is very subjective. All systems have at least some good games on them. Except atari jaguar. Even that can be subjective. Heck i'm looking more forward to an atari re-recording emulator than a psx one.

I love what you have done so far, luke, good job. Just fixing those bugs would make it excellent. But have you seen this thread? i made an image for an ideal TAS making tool idea, maybe you could consider making it? i see it needs a lot of work, but user friendlyness is the key to make tasing easier, which leads to more people making movies and better quality movies too. http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2607&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Are you planning on working on Track&Field 2, Phil? it has better graphics and sound (and i'm much more familiar with it).

Hi, it's true that i haven't worked anymore on the run since the last WIP. I don't want to rush things, i am working on some other stuff (some other hobbies too) and will get back to the mario64 run soon when i feel inspired, or else it wouldn't come out as good as i want it to be.

Er, how do you get "over a minute" out of a 59 seconds and 50 frames improvement? :P
he said "another minute", not "over a minute"...

we had calculated a time of 25 minutes at best before we knew about the pipe glitch (during the dream team constest)
