Yea thanks but it was already known. :) Have you watched the testrun? it's 2 hours and 10 minutes long, i would really apreciate if you could watch it... you've been giving some good advice here, it would be cool if you could check on the route and help us think if the castle route is good. I think the biggest question mark on it is the ghost house, but i'm probably gonna make it after the whole basement is finished.

Hmm... along a similar vein, there was a game, for the Genesis I believe, where you played four different character's quests (no particular order). And all I remember is the yellow character's quest involved a boss battle with a machine/tank that had an antenna on its top and when you broke it he started shooting enormous lasers out of its front. Anyone know what game it is?
I don't know, gunstar heroes? nitsuja: i never played such a rpg maybe it's one of the Ultima series?

I tried a timeattack of this, i think it goes to the moon stage. i love this game. It is 3 minutes in the game, and i measured the complete run without any sequence breaking would be 12-13 minutes big. There are many places in the game that you must come back to, so if a sequence could be broken then several minutes could be cut from this... edit: i think you should change the title of the thread now that you knwo which game it is.

About same time as going to the cannon... i'm having trouble to optimize it though, i lose some time on it, but i don't know how much faster it can be.

loved it. the acting was very appropriate, you are good at puppetry controlling those characters to act like a movie, i found it entertaing. just make sure to not make the goal "finish as fast as possible" but make it "finish the game in an entertaining way"

Sleepz' RCR run kicks ass. It's one of my all-time favorites, so I'm trying to do a 2 player run to obsolete it, but I've got too much on my plate with real life. Argh.
I have already started a 2 players run of it, it's probably somewhere on the NES forums. But i gave up because it lags too much. Anyway, i found a bug that saves some time, so the 1p version can be remade. edit: here is the thread: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1346&highlight=ransom

Please use private messaging for that. I'm having trouble with koopa the quick. It was faster to reach the top and then go back below to tease him than to reach the top and wait for him there... This is getting complicated. Also, how is "shoot to the island in the sky" star a CCless star? i've managed to do it but glitching my way there, it simply isn't possible on a console

You can't compare google videos to youtube. Google videos is famou,s youtube isn't. For quality AVI we have our torrent system which works wonderfully. But for popular downloads and "advertising" i think google videos is perfect. Google videos is a place where people can find the timeattacks for their favorite games although they aren't aware of what a timeattack is.

Can we make a list of all timeattacks that are on google videos? i bet the old morimoto's super mario 3 is still there with no description text... i've already reported at it as "obsolete" to google videos but it's still there : / Anyway, I uploaded these videos, with proper description, so if any of them gets obsoleted i can update it: Genesis - Alex Kidd in Enchanted Castle - hardest mode in 6:55 Genesis - Pit Fighter - hardest mode - no damage NES - Battletoads 2 players warpless - in 24:57 NES - Excitebike all 6 tracks finished total 5:58 NES - Gauntlet in 12:24 NES - Kickmaster finished in 8:58 NES - Street Fighter 2010 - in 17:40 and some demonstration videos: Super Mario 64 - Princess Secret Slide in 12' 3" (tool-assisted) in 6:30 Super Mario 64 - through the gate glitch Super Mario 64 - Whomp's Fortress Boss Route edit: added links

Yea i had the feeling that some stuff could have been done slightly faster, but just by looking at it i don't know exactly how. It was entertaining nontheless and it's Castlevania! i'm glad it's finished, i think this really should be pusblished.

If we could toggle it on/off then i think it's a really nice feature, but for the purpose of detecting ramdom frames of lag during a movie instead of the input issue. I just wonder how hard and cpu expensive it would be to compare 2 frames...

I love the idea of a "closed" emulator. No plugins hassle, and the graphics and sound as close to the original hardware as possible... It only needs some fixing now (and linux version which probably won't happen : / ) But it didn't run my tekken 2 ISO.

Maybe he's had previous bad experiences with people from Netherlands (still no reason to blame everyone) but let's try not to fill the thread with out of topic matters. It's too long with mario 64 stuff already.

The SMS graphics doesn't fit on the GBA screen because it's too small for them. This has been discussed before.
