A few more things. It probably would of been best to spend the time in the first stage to get the Vitamin X, and use it after you use the key card in stage 2. There's also some Vitamin X in Toxic Dump and The Abyss which you did not get. In Incubator, there is a pipe bomb assited small ledge push in the yellow key room. There's a few alternatives to your path in Lunar Reactor which may decrease the time. There's a sequence break in Dark Side which you may want to look into because you do have a jet pack http://red-stars.net/content/Duke_Nukem_3D_Glitches:Episode_2#Sequence_Break
You're a PC runner right? How does this run compare to the times already achieved in real time? Or is the 64 version so laggy you can't really say?

Voted yes because I have fond memories of the game and the play was well done. But man, the Super FX chip really, really sucked.

djs: would hi rez textures make much of a difference in my videos? I think people have already expressed they prefer lower bitrates. for faster downloads. If you want to watch this in high res, get the texture pack yourself and watch guano's m64's in your own mupen.
I always preferred your videos as a higher quality product than the eventual published avi.

Just out of curiousity, why is the AK used up every time? Does it cause significant amounts of lag (I would expect that shooting it off would also cause lag o.O)
No, to get guards to hear the gunshots and open doors I believe.

Even masks? God that would be boring. I'm in favor of a more reasonable 100% however. Medallions, skulltulas, upgrades, Biggoron, spells etc.

I think this should be published alongside the other run but not replacing it. Concept demos are more movies with strange goals rather than strange methods aren't they?

Respectable run of a piss-poor game.

A shame because the WIPs are really quite entertaining.

Frankly I'd rather see forward backwalking but there is some legitimate concern for it to be used at least very sparingly. Nothing to go crazy about.

No it's just in setting it up. Wastes some frames.

I'd say someone TAS Action 52 but that game is so broken some of the games are impossible to complete.

A glitched all-medallion run is I think the ideal run to go for. I would also love to see a 100%, but that's a massive undertaking,

The avi torrent seems to be stuck at 61 percent.

Yes yes, I'm a big proponent of any sidescroller beat-em-up TAS.
