you shouldn't need the minigame nearly as much as you're planning. Keep in mind you can manipulate luck. And the speed of this one, should definitely beat the NES one, as it's easier. <<< Get Megalixirs from the ship minigame. (Quantity I'm not sure, a lot I guess) Get Hermes's Shoes from the ship minigame. (Quantity 1?, for chaos) Get Emergency Exits from the ship minigame. (Quantity 4-6) Get Cockatrice's Claws from the ship minigame (Quantity 3) >>> cut this all out. manipulate luck instead. Edit: the only thing I could see actually speeding it up might be the emergency exits.

is anyone planning to do a glitch-less run of this? Like no wobbling, and no hovering. Those 2 most blatantly come to mind as not being able to be done on the console.

western world is more christian. I like that title too actually. That's the kind of game i'd play just based on how cool the title is.

you should be able to manipulate what enemy you fight. the other guy was about to in DW1, so just go to the area they're in... and test frames? something like that maybe.

hmmm..... i think the guy that did DW1 made a program to map out at what frames what would happen. maybe something similar could be done for this...

there was one part where you walk into the wall in the green well cave thing. Also, in the battle, I think in DW1, it wasn't based on only the command input speed, but also the speed of reading, might be able to manipulate more criticals...

A single white mage can be done on the NES... you have to go to Level 50 though. Well, you might not have to with luck manipulation. It's possible though.

I was curious about that too, but it might be to manipulate the crab to avoid a battle.

Enhasa: last time i played was about 5 years ago. I remember him almost dying or something like that. Anyway, can we drop it? :P Also, Why not get the Gades Blade? As long as it doesn't require leveling.

yea, don't. Anyone watching this will have already played it. I've played through it at least 4 times, I know the story almost by heart. The gades blade is extremely powerful. One of the better swords in the game. I think it'd be something that is worth going after. Level 15 is with no luck manipulation though, isn't it? You have more control over what's going on in the battle, also... What would getting the Jet Helm take? As in time... It might be worth it. Looking foward to seeing Dekar again. Prolly my favorite character. Poor guy died. :(

I just watched the video... I noticed to set off the bomb you walked away and walked back.. is that faster than swinging the sword? yea the catfish battle looked pretty cool. Good Luck with manipulating drops.

if you can beat gades the first time through you can get the Gades Blade, i'd be impressed to see that happen.

last time i played wasn't too long ago... if you're not too far along, i'd be willing to give a shot at the time attack too.

maybe it does something recurrsively, and it's at that point that the call stack overflows.
