For what I remember, you can control a Gala Cat, they have the Float Magic. Another posibility is to use Jump command (Dragoon Ability). Not sure if Conceal is available immediately, if it's then you can also try it...

It's been a long time since I played this game, but couldn't you cut a lot with the feather? So, a GP race would be better than one for time trial?

I though you saw them on either GameFAQs' SPO forum or Jarboo's site, since Bear Hugger's strat was found by Abused Rib, & I doubt that someone else could find that strat... Anyway, if I have more free time, I'll try to find new patters to get WRs.

I know, I just got lucky to get that time. BTW, I have some magazines with some records of this game & there are some that are better than the ones here, the problem is that it doesn't mention the strat used (that sucks...). The times are: Gabby Jay: 5"98 Bald Bull: 7"84 Dragon Chan: 7"39 Mr. Sandman: 12"58 Aran Ryan: 8"41 Heike Kagero: 9"86 Mad Clown: 9"01 All this times where done on the actual game, which may be improved if the strats are ever found...

Today, I was improving my times & found out that Narcis Prince's record can be improved a 0.01 secs... I know it's nothing, but it's still an improvement... The strat used is the same, but have to dizzy him at 6"86 & not 6"88... Here's a snap of mine:

I though about the sacrifice, but though that white had to promote, which would waist the 4 moves before getting a mate... Now that it's solved, I took a look of the puzzle with Crafty & gave me a mate in 5, here's how it goes: 1. Ke5-d6 Ke3-e4 2. Nb3-a5 Ke4-e3 3. Na5-c4+ Ke3-e4 4. Bf1-d3+ Ke4-d4 5. Rf8-f4#

A forced mate in 4? that's quick... I found a line in mate in 3, but black can live if plays correctly, here's my line: 1. Bg2 Ke2 2. Nd4+ Ke3?? 3. Rf3# I'll try to get that forced mate in 4...

Finally, I found the magazine with the glitch, here are the details textually:
    If you're eliminated after getting the whip, enter Wednesday's house & when you get out, keep pressed diagonally up & left and use the whip until you disappear. Now that you're invisible, move to the righ & up until you get to the picture (it's at the street, like 2 screens to the right & one up). Now, press 2 times START & you'll appear near the Thing(2) house (which its at the upper left of the map)
If I'm not mistaken, you could do this at any house, but most of the time wasn't usefull...

Now, there's still another glitch, you can berserk ExDeath, so that he can't transform himself to Neo ExDeath because he won't be able to cast magic & win the battle ASAP...

I also wanna see a time attack for this game, I was thinking on making a new post :P (didn't knew there was alredy a topic)... BTW, don't know if this is old news, but there where a glitch in this game that would let you teleport to another place, skipping a part of the game. You needed the whip & an item (which I don't remember right now). If this wasn't known I can look for the magazine where this glitch was posted...
