The "Finland" part is referring to Nokia being the first mobile to bring up this game on the cellphone (Nokia 6110). The article points up (apart from what you've already said) that this was the starting point of videogames on cellphones

Taken from the GameFAQs' sticky topic
What are the differences between difficulty levels? Adults is the basically same as Kids, except: 1) You start with only five hearts 2) The VFX meter drains much faster 3) The enemies are more durable V-Rated and Ultra V-Rated have all of the same enemies as Kids and Adults, but the tougher enemies appear much sooner. For example, there are already Cromartys in "Joe the Hero." There are Gelbys in "Some Like It Red Hot" and Metal Leos in "The Viewtiful Escape." There are much more obstacles in V/UV rated. More lasers, dripping lava, swarms of bats, frogs and moles, etc. Most of the regular Biankys have been replaced by Bianky Boxers and Cromartys. There are more enemies overall. The enemies have more health and you dish out less damage. Gelbys give less warning and attack faster. The bosses, especially have more health. King Blue has a stupid amount of health bars on Ultra-V. There are NO skull icons in Ultra-V mode and you take quad damage.
So I would say that unless you played this game, playing on Ultra-V and aiming for speed wouldn't be much appealing, but a rainbow V play-around might prove things different IMO.

I'm also interested on seeing a run of this game, wonder how the outcome will be. BTW, what goals will you aim at?

I was confusing this with the DS game but still I love this game's series, so I really liked this run. I really liked the moon walking while you waited & also when you took the metal slug (tank) & killed all the enemies off-screen several times. Good job mtvf1 :)

Thanks much Ilari :) I don't know how ofter could it be used, but now I can use the exact type to describe it. Also, I was thinking that maybe classifying the games by system would be helpful later on, when (if) people add more games.

Thanks for the answers Ilari, I still don't quite get what does Qm.n number stands for (first time seeing it), so I found what it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_%28number_format%29 So, if I want a 3byte size address, you say is Q16.8 but from what I read, I don't need the fractional part. So I'm lost here :S

I want to post the FFV RAM addresses that I have (http://www.erick.guillen.com.mx/Codes/SNES%20Final%20Fantasy%20V.txt), but I have some questions. What is the size of each data type? What if an address behaves different using the lower part of a nibble for something & the upper one for another thing? (Like 7E0500 which actually divides in several parts: BN??GCCC -> B= Back Row, N= Not in team, ?= Dunno, G= Gender, C= Character) If you add an address, can you later on move it to another place or insert a new one on the middle of the list? How can you explain the values of the codes? Like for example, enemy list.

I'm sure this game has more to show (even if is just visual) if you use codes like the ones that change the characters to mascots.

I'm not sure if you're aware or not Lord Tom (since this news just came yesterday all of the sudden), but it seems that MFO site will come to an end. I suppose you have all you need by now, but if not you have a little less than 2 weeks to retrieve information from the site. Edit: Latest news seems that F-zero community will own MFO, so that the site doesn't disappear completely, so I suppose is not that worrisome for this proyect, still better be sure than sorry

Yeah, I think doing per-cup is a good compromise between one-submission-per-track and requiring the TASer to do the entire game all in one go.
Yeah, and if I recall correctly the credits do actually show after completing just one cup, so for this sites standards, it'd count as completion.
That's true but only for Grand Prix, in Time Trial there are no credits.

I wouldn't mind seeing all 24 tracks in 1 sitting (it shouldn't even take more than half hour seeing it completely). However who knows when (if at all) all the tracks will get TASed eventually or not, so it wouldn't be that bad to have a TAS per cup (which means there would be 4 videos in total) a part of the reasons you've already mentioned. I'm all in with the split. Just don't forget to detail the strats used when you submit it, as anyone who hasn't played the game won't know how hard are they.

I didn't knew that there was a run of this game. I remember a friend lending me the game long time ago. It wasn't that good, but kind of reminded me of Ski Free for the old Windows 95, so I liked playing it (though the only similarity is that they are skying in both games...) I'll watch it later :)

Did you try deleting temporary files and your Internet cache? That should free up some space.
^ Ccleaner does a good job doing that done. Also, if you're under Windows, you can reduce the amount of space reserved for the Recycle Bin & disable Windows Backup (if you really don't use it), those two will free quite some space, if you haven't done already.
