Alexander Brandon - Snowfall I'm sort of cheating here because this song was to my knowledge not featured in a video game. However, the composer worked on several Epic games (such as Tyrian, Jazz Jackrabbit and Unreal) and a port for this song to SMW was used in a romhack before, so... that counts, I guess.

How about 'contributor' or 'TAS contributor'?

Some insightful words by our friend George Orwell on this matter. [...] He picked up the children's history book and looked at the portrait of Big Brother which formed its frontispiece. The hypnotic eyes gazed into his own. It was as though some huge force were pressing down upon you -- something that penetrated inside your skull, battering against your brain, frightening you out of your beliefs, persuading you, almost, to deny the evidence of your senses. In the end the Party would announce that twelve was equal to minus twelve, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality, was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense. And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that twelve is not equal to minus twelve? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then? [...]

Going by what nitrogenesis said, I'm inclined to vote 'no' on the run. This game could at least be a decent one for the vault, but to that end, it needs to be played in full.

sigh. some episodes of certain dubs are being removed from Dailymotion... This is not right. Why is this happening. First YouTube, and now this? This is getting weird.
It's almost like Hasbro have an intellectual property to keep up or something.

I know it is against the rules to use the Passwords, but seriously, play this game.
Could you elaborate on this a bit? Not knowing the game, I'm not happy with "just play it" as an explanation. Is it like in Ghosts'n'Goblins or similar where all the password does is skip to the second quest right away, that is, avoid having to play through the game twice? If it just skips to the final stage, why does it so? Other than that, I'm waiting for an encode.

If nothing else, I think this movie is more of a proof-of-concept movie to show how you can open a TC vector in Super Metroid, and an incredible one at that. Sure, you could collect the necessary items legitimately using a normal TAS playthrough, but it would take longer while not being very different from other Super Metroid TASes. Instead, this run shows the fastest way to access the GT code and then use it to quickly set up the Space-Time beam. The sheer spectacle of having a completion timer of 5:00, without even messing with it and saving the animals in a TAS (the only TAS to have done so) makes it worth it in my opinion. Therefore, regardless of the legitimacy of the GT code, I'm all for publishing this run as a glorious proof of concept.

I played Club Penguin once. I met some really nice people too, decided to meet up with them. When I arrived there, some weird guy and a camera crew appeared and asked me to have a seat. So irritating. Since then, I do not play Club Penguin anymore.

This was interesting, I always thought the SMS Alladin game was just a port of Mega Drive version. The run seemed to be of good technical quality, but the game looks very dull. Still, it's a Yes from me.

Can't wait for a final encode, since the youtube-upload is again blocked in germany.
Because the Lords of Germany Internet hate anything Castlevania. I notice that my Rondo/DXC encodes get blocked in Germany all the time.
For whatever reason, Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, and the original NES Castlevania are all blocked in Germany. There's always Proxtube of course, but that's not really a solution for the long term.

Is the Safari Zone required to complete the game? I've heard things about making the game unwinnable without the step limit removed.

Can someone explain to the uninitiated what the Step Limit is all about? Thanks in advance.

I think this would be an interesting idea. You could do all other kinds of interesting stuff, like create graphs or compare various iterations of a TAS in terms of rerecord intensitivity that way. I'd be all for it.
